This fight isn't the most intense or exciting, but since I already made it to test my render settings in Sony Vegas I figured I would share it with you guys! We had a lot of issues with keeping Talii on field due to the sniper Nagas and the sniper Zealot, but the Tengu is beefy enough to be able to stay on field with that kind of stuff so I was able to get some halfway decent footage.

In an effort to get new players into a state where they can do exciting things quickly, we are breaking skill plans into several parts. The first step is the 4-5 hours to get you into a tackle Merlin. + Show Spoiler [TRAIN THIS FIRST] + Caldari Frigate I Propulsion Jamming I Shield Upgrades I Afterburner III High Speed Maneuvering I Hull Upgrades I Get more ranks of caldari frig, 3 is recommended as a baseline. You should use your characters remap, and put 24 points in intelligence, 24 points in perception, and leave the other 3 at the minimum of 17 points. Once you are confident in your ability to not lose your pod, +3 learning implants are a good investment. These skills will give you rudimentary ability to fit and use general modules, and get more effectiveness out of your ship. These skills are all good, and should all be taken to level 5 at some point, but that is a job for another time. If you don't know what you want to skill up, the things on this list are never a bad choice for future training time! + Show Spoiler [6 days of supports] + Cybernetics I (20 minutes, 16 seconds) Electronics IV (16 hours, 46 minutes, 53 seconds) Engineering IV (16 hours, 46 minutes, 53 seconds) Electronics Upgrades I (13 minutes, 30 seconds) Electronics Upgrades II (1 hour, 2 minutes, 56 seconds) Electronics Upgrades III (5 hours, 55 minutes, 58 seconds) Long Range Targeting I (13 minutes, 30 seconds) Long Range Targeting II (1 hour, 2 minutes, 56 seconds) Long Range Targeting III (5 hours, 55 minutes, 58 seconds) Propulsion Jamming I (20 minutes, 16 seconds) Propulsion Jamming II (1 hour, 34 minutes, 24 seconds) Signature Analysis I (6 minutes, 45 seconds) Signature Analysis II (31 minutes, 29 seconds) Signature Analysis III (2 hours, 57 minutes, 58 seconds) Targeting I (6 minutes, 45 seconds) Targeting II (31 minutes, 29 seconds) Targeting III (2 hours, 57 minutes, 58 seconds) Energy Grid Upgrades I (13 minutes, 30 seconds) Energy Grid Upgrades II (1 hour, 2 minutes, 56 seconds) Energy Grid Upgrades III (5 hours, 55 minutes, 58 seconds) Energy Management I (20 minutes, 16 seconds) Energy Management II (1 hour, 34 minutes, 24 seconds) Energy Management III (8 hours, 53 minutes, 58 seconds) Energy Systems Operation I (6 minutes, 45 seconds) Energy Systems Operation II (31 minutes, 29 seconds) Energy Systems Operation III (2 hours, 57 minutes, 58 seconds) Afterburner I (6 minutes, 10 seconds) Afterburner II (28 minutes, 45 seconds) Afterburner III (2 hours, 42 minutes, 35 seconds) Afterburner IV (15 hours, 19 minutes, 52 seconds) Acceleration Control I (24 minutes, 41 seconds) Acceleration Control II (1 hour, 54 minutes, 59 seconds) Acceleration Control III (10 hours, 50 minutes, 26 seconds) Evasive Maneuvering I (12 minutes, 20 seconds) Evasive Maneuvering II (57 minutes, 30 seconds) Evasive Maneuvering III (5 hours, 25 minutes, 12 seconds) Navigation IV (15 hours, 19 minutes, 52 seconds) Warp Drive Operation I (6 minutes, 10 seconds) Warp Drive Operation II (28 minutes, 45 seconds) Warp Drive Operation III (2 hours, 42 minutes, 35 seconds) Fuel Conservation I (12 minutes, 20 seconds) Fuel Conservation II (57 minutes, 30 seconds) Fuel Conservation III (5 hours, 25 minutes, 12 seconds) Total time: 5 days, 22 hours, 38 minutes, 23 seconds There two formal ways to tank: Armor and Shield so a skill plan for doing each is in order. + Show Spoiler [armor tanking] + Hull Upgrades I (13 minutes, 30 seconds) Hull Upgrades II (1 hour, 2 minutes, 56 seconds) Hull Upgrades III (5 hours, 55 minutes, 58 seconds) Hull Upgrades IV (1 day, 9 hours, 33 minutes, 47 seconds) Mechanics III (2 hours, 57 minutes, 58 seconds) Mechanics IV (16 hours, 46 minutes, 53 seconds) Repair Systems I (6 minutes, 45 seconds) Repair Systems II (31 minutes, 29 seconds) Repair Systems III (2 hours, 57 minutes, 58 seconds) EM Armor Compensation I (13 minutes, 30 seconds) EM Armor Compensation II (1 hour, 2 minutes, 56 seconds) Explosive Armor Compensation I (13 minutes, 30 seconds) Explosive Armor Compensation II (1 hour, 2 minutes, 56 seconds) Explosive Armor Compensation III (5 hours, 55 minutes, 58 seconds) Kinetic Armor Compensation I (13 minutes, 30 seconds) Kinetic Armor Compensation II (1 hour, 2 minutes, 56 seconds) Kinetic Armor Compensation III (5 hours, 55 minutes, 58 seconds) Thermic Armor Compensation I (13 minutes, 30 seconds) Thermic Armor Compensation II (1 hour, 2 minutes, 56 seconds) Hull Upgrades V (7 days, 21 hours, 51 minutes, 37 seconds) Total time: 11 days, 6 hours, 56 minutes, 42 seconds Most of the time is tied up in Hull Upgrades 5. This skill is what unlocks most of the tech 2 armor tanking modules. It can be lived without but it is difficult. + Show Spoiler [shield tanking] + Shield Management I (20 minutes, 16 seconds) Shield Management II (1 hour, 34 minutes, 24 seconds) Shield Management III (8 hours, 53 minutes, 58 seconds) Shield Upgrades I (13 minutes, 30 seconds) Shield Upgrades II (1 hour, 2 minutes, 56 seconds) Shield Upgrades III (5 hours, 55 minutes, 58 seconds) Shield Upgrades IV (1 day, 9 hours, 33 minutes, 47 seconds) Shield Operation III (2 hours, 57 minutes, 58 seconds) Shield Operation IV (16 hours, 46 minutes, 53 seconds) Shield Management IV (2 days, 2 hours, 20 minutes, 40 seconds) Tactical Shield Manipulation I (27 minutes, 1 second) Tactical Shield Manipulation II (2 hours, 5 minutes, 51 seconds) Tactical Shield Manipulation III (11 hours, 51 minutes, 58 seconds) Tactical Shield Manipulation IV (2 days, 19 hours, 7 minutes, 34 seconds) Shield Compensation I (13 minutes, 30 seconds) Shield Compensation II (1 hour, 2 minutes, 56 seconds) Shield Compensation III (5 hours, 55 minutes, 58 seconds) Total time: 8 days, 18 hours, 25 minutes, 16 seconds Never touch Tactical Shield Manipulation again! It should NEVER be taken to level 5! With basic support skills, and the ability to fit a tech 2 tank, you need some damage! Gunnery and Missile are the preferred weapon systems. Drones are a weird weapon system, not really recommended. + Show Spoiler [gunnery] + Small Hybrid Turret I (6 minutes, 45 seconds) Small Hybrid Turret II (31 minutes, 29 seconds) Small Hybrid Turret III (2 hours, 57 minutes, 58 seconds) Gunnery III (2 hours, 57 minutes, 58 seconds) Gunnery IV (16 hours, 46 minutes, 53 seconds) Controlled Bursts I (13 minutes, 30 seconds) Controlled Bursts II (1 hour, 2 minutes, 56 seconds) Controlled Bursts III (5 hours, 55 minutes, 58 seconds) Motion Prediction I (13 minutes, 30 seconds) Motion Prediction II (1 hour, 2 minutes, 56 seconds) Motion Prediction III (5 hours, 55 minutes, 58 seconds) Rapid Firing I (13 minutes, 30 seconds) Rapid Firing II (1 hour, 2 minutes, 56 seconds) Rapid Firing III (5 hours, 55 minutes, 58 seconds) Rapid Firing IV (1 day, 9 hours, 33 minutes, 47 seconds) Sharpshooter I (13 minutes, 30 seconds) Sharpshooter II (1 hour, 2 minutes, 56 seconds) Sharpshooter III (5 hours, 55 minutes, 58 seconds) Weapon Upgrades I (13 minutes, 30 seconds) Weapon Upgrades II (1 hour, 2 minutes, 56 seconds) Weapon Upgrades III (5 hours, 55 minutes, 58 seconds) Weapon Upgrades IV (1 day, 9 hours, 33 minutes, 47 seconds) Trajectory Analysis I (33 minutes, 47 seconds) Trajectory Analysis II (2 hours, 37 minutes, 21 seconds) Trajectory Analysis III (14 hours, 49 minutes, 56 seconds) Small Hybrid Turret IV (16 hours, 46 minutes, 53 seconds) Motion Prediction IV (1 day, 9 hours, 33 minutes, 47 seconds) Total time: 8 days, 2 hours, 52 minutes, 34 seconds Hybrids are only used as an example. Energy, Hybrid, and Projectile skills are all fully interchangeable, and depend on what ship you want to fly. Taking the turret skill to 5 and getting small blaster specialization, small pulse laser specialization, or small autocannon specialization will unlock tech 2 weapons, a significant step up in power. With turret 4 you can inject the medium skill, and use cruiser guns if you wish to fly a cruiser. Look into getting the medium versions of the above specializations for tech 2 cruiser weapons! Skill plans for new players, they have been sitting in 54, may need a touch more modifications before going into second post. Drones and/or missile skills?

The game has been crying out for it for a long time. Slapping another pilot with the gauntlet of challenge should produce some decent fight opportunities.

"Unifex: Once we have a theme, we can begin to thread the issues you've identified as needing to be prioritized into that theme. POS's, for example, desperately need some improvement. How do we fit that work into our theme? Maybe we don't do all of the modular POS work at once, but we start by making some modules, solving the hangar problem, for instance. But that new hangar module would also exist to support other new activities as part of the themed expansion." how2game.design. First come up with theme. Then work out what massively outstanding issues can fit in to that theme and which can't... Thoughts? If you want you can always post in the thread when someone bids. Something like "In game bid for 10 bil" or whatever. That way you get to bump the thread with their offers without really breaking the rules. Also, Kwark's stream is featured, I call shenanigans.
