It was fairly good, but there's no real incentive to keep playing. There's no definite draw, which I think might be the lack of functional player interaction. I can understand a game developer not ripping off World of Warcraft in it's entirety but there's a reason that WoW is so damn popular. Lacking Player interaction in terms of the chat channels (Like a Looking for Group channel, which is a major lynch-pin of a MMO with group play), and actually seeing who is in the same channels as you are. All the other players are faceless emotionless mannequins that are dressed up and run around doing shit, everything about everyone else is transient, and there's no talking in channels about anything at all. Also the chat channels block you from speaking for like 10 minutes if you say the same LFG message more than 4 times. Then any other attempt to say something in the channel resets the timer (it's pretty dumb). Also a lot of different combinations of skills and effects from characters takes a bit of learning, and it will take a while for casual players to get the hang of PvP, as it is quite the clusterfuck. Also no Guild versus Guild in this sequel. | ||
