I think there was a scrap heap post regarding this. However there are several reactions that you can do on a single planet that are profitable enough to do and they dont require much upkeep. So either have an alt do it or do the simple way...not quite as profitable as the more complicated methods but you are making isk for no effort regardless.

so i jumped through the gate into nullsec yesterday, and lo and behold seven hundred million ships of all shapes and sizes waiting for me, bubbles everywhere and cans and drones to decloak people... i'm 3,300m from the nearest drone with my cloak up viewing the situation. im in a thorax with a 1600mm plate, there are multiple frigates and a few covops ships, so they're gonna lock me near instantly... i align for a gate out put my speed to 0. think about what a good life ive had as a clone. am i really alive? am i just an extension of whoever i'm a clone of? who knows. who knows, i sit for a while, and watch as they move their drones around trying to find me. closest drone is still 3300... but it starts moving. 3200... please dont let him be coming through here... 2700... oh man... 2300...i drop my cloak and hit warp and close my eyes "we cannot hold!"... "BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRP" all those wonderful sounds when armor/sheilds and structure are low all at once sounds pretty sweet. my pod starts warping out... straight through a bubble LOL. ttyl implants http://teamliquid.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=7385685 never courier for kwark!

I took a small hac/recon gang out to glory (vaga/curse/rook/cerb+tackle), at one point we got chased by about 20 people with a shitload of tackle and BCs, 1-2 hacs, no recons. I decide that those are great odds and call for burning off a gate after we stretched their fleet for 3-4 jumps. Afterwards I'm pretty sure I should have called the rook/cerb to warp off and warp back since they weren't properly nano'd up, but, welp, my fault for not keeping their exact fits in mind. The curse and me (vaga) start ripping through some tackle, the rook is too far off the group and gets tackled by a BC, fails his first jam cycle and therefor get's wtfstomped by their fleet. The cerb gets tackled, too, mwd's out to safety, gG. 2 jumps later I decide to finally lure the dudes pinning kwark down to a system next door, seems like our original persuers decide to give chase again though. At this point in time we're set up perfectly at a gate (vaga/curse at 30-40km, cerb at 70km) and I decide to give it a go once again. What followed was pure art at first since the curse and me start just raping their tackle (I think we killed 6 ceptors in this fight alone) while maintaining distance to their BC group. However, my lovely curse buddy panics at one point and gets tackled by a hurricane. gG for him. I get another 1-2 kills while they try to loot the wrecks, they leave, kwark randomly announces that he just warped to our gate. I warp over to assist vs tackle and call for the cerb to come back in at range. Seems a hostile railbrutix had the exact same idea and lands on top of him. -_- Obv. kwark survives but manages to die an hour or so later. Overall it was very well done by anyone participating, for most it was their first time doing this type of combat and I bet they shat their pants when realizing we're fighting 1:5 odds there. Considering HOW we lost the ships we lost people should be shitting their pants even more. Why? Because it's possible to win without losses in these types of situations, given the right fits, experience and FCing. Liquid fighting~!! <3

HaC - Heavy Assault Cruiser Recon - Recon Cruiser Hacs are know for their ability to give and receive beatings to nearly any ship of their class. Recons are generally support vessels fit with a cov-ops cloak and a shit ton of guns and/or ewar. Hac + Recon (if flown and led well) is a terrifying gang to fly against, because they can (again, depending on fits) destroy your tackle and then take a beating while they disable you. Finally, when they're bored they will send you to a glorious fiery death.

HACS are the T2 version of cruisers, which mean they have similar ehp and dps to Battlecruisers, but still retain the small sig radius and faster align/speed advantage of cruisers. Recons are "tanky" cruiser size ships that do a little less dps than BCs, but at the same time are specialized to excel in EWAR depending on what Recon you are flying. Edit: Did Kwark fall asleep to lose the drake?

Edit: Did Kwark fall asleep to lose the drake? I got bored and decloaked and warped to a gate. There I got confused by a 9pool labelled jet can 70k off gate, presumably from one of our wrecks. Despite being on scan of one of their ships I hung about to chat in SCBW about whether I should pick it up. A cane warped in on me and I panicked and jumped. There were many hostiles waiting and the gate was bubbled. I mwded back to gate and jumped through and they all followed. What I should have done is mwded back to gate again, jumped back through and then mwded off grid for 2-3 seconds before cloaking. Instead I tried to make a warp for it and got pointed just before I aligned. It was one of those situations where a little bit of evasive maneuvering would have made a big difference.

I never paid for the subscription, just went through like 4 trials occassionaly, but maybe if I get some extra money sometime in the future I might pay those few months and then buy time cards with in-game money. Do you think it's possible to get enough money to buy time card with 21 day trial + 1 paid month and then get those money within a month regularly? (I heard later you can get the money for the time card in few days). Reading this sounds just so exciting. I'd love to have an interceptor or covops scout/probing ship and help you guys ^_^ If you're active and get a tl member to help you out a bit you can easily make enough money to buy your first 30 days during a 21 day trial. Train towards a salvaging destroyer and get a lvl 4 missioner like Jayme or WP to let you tag along. Costs them nothing and you can easily make 10m an hour. A PLEX costs around 330m at the moment.

Nobody fits an MWD on a drake. They pretty much just slowboat through gatecamps because the ship is such a juggernaut. Edit: If people want to see what an EvE sov battle might look like before it happens: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/japanx Basically station comes out of reinforce in about 2 hours or so. The Cam is currently (and has been for past 3-4 hours) showing the O-W station being camped in (not letting ships inside of it get out). Local showed 1000+ people on that server node. And if you want to see what happens when the station comes out of reinforce (invincibility mode) and the battle to fight over it about to happen, turning off your monitor is probably the best rendition. Edit 2: Wait what? Kwark's a mod? I never knew =_=
