I believe that was an example of how an 80m drake would look like. Also, T2 launchers are hard on the CPU, so there can be much to gain on using named ones. If you were to use arby heavy launchers, your fit would be up to 150m anyway.

Kwark has been able to use t2 for while now but he thought cn launchers were better than t2 Because T2 ammo is just soooo much more expensive
as if 60 million per launcher isn't insane on a drake. I reeducated him. Further more the launcher ROF on T2 for heavies is actually faster than their CN counterpart. This isn't the case for cruise launchers...but the heavy spec skill makes up the difference

I still want cn launchers but I thought given recent losses I'd downgrade for a while so as to maintain a sensible wallet.

And that would be even more retarded than buying the meta 3's. Unless your fitting skills are complete trash, t2s are completely worth the increased fitting requirements.
Whatever, I've already fallen for the bait, but I think I'll cut my losses now.

Not bad but it could have been considerably better. Only one cn invuln and you can actually fit four cn bcs on a drake. That's pretty much the whole point of using them. Normal bcs you need to use a co-processor in one of the lows to fit them so you can only have three. His heart was in the right place but the fit doesn't make much sense.

In PvP tonight, I led a band of six warriors into lowsec. We found a target, chased him for a while and then found ten of his friends. Faced with this situation we decided to let him go and instead head into nullsec. Nullsec was pretty quiet as we scanned around hoping to get some idiot ratting in a drake. We did find an industrial wreck and in the wreckage a cloaking device which I took. Then vice found a harpy on a gate. The harpy jumped out so vice said we should just proceed as normal. Being the super fast pilot I am I immediately warped to the outgate as vice screamed "gate activation warp to me". All the lesser pilots started warping to him to get the harpy which was now coming back with a hundred of his friends. Only me, in my drake, warping to a different stargate, survived. Yet another testament to the survivability of drakes. Of the six of us I think it no coincidence that the drake pilot was the sole survivor.
I started jumping aimlessly around in nullsec which is a pretty scary experience. However eventually I found an empty system so I stopped, got my bearings and engaged in a little casual ratting. As you do. Despite hundreds in the adjacent system it stayed fairly clear and I had time to work out I was in caldari-ish nullsec and that I could actually do some Mordu's Legion missions nearby. So when I got company in local I decided I'd stop ratting and go to my nearby mission station. Upon arriving there several nice gentlemen immediately targetted me so they could check if I was in any way damaged, just a way of showing they care. But I was fine so I docked. I removed spare ammo, my drone link augmentor and the rest of the loot, fitted the cloaking device I luckily found earlier and got myself a mission.
Unfortunately my friends in local seemed to think the mission was dangerous (and in nullsec who can blame them) and they absolutely would not let leave the station. They were really quite adamant on the matter. However one kind soul left a cargo can instant undock so I got away, warped to a belt at random and cloaked up. So in the end, everything worked out great.

Also tomorrows mission, an adventure into the heart of nullsec to find a lost pilot and escort him back to safety, no matter the price. X up for it.

You did not 'find' the cloaking device. I saw the wreck first since i was the scout (no idea why im the one scouting in 0.0 since Im terrible at it) and it as well as the bpo was given to you to carry since you had the most tank. Now apperently we have to do a remake of Saving Private Ryan in space because theres probably no other way you can get back with your ship intact. And im STILL shocked you havent gone off and blindly warped into a bubble yet.
The good news is your actually still alive (as of the time of this post anyway) and your doing decently in anoms. So just sit tight and do your loldrake thing until we can get another fleet to go out and get blown up so you can get home.

so you flew five in your drake and vice flew one in a stabber?

0.0 is only more dangerous than lowsec due to the addition of the infamous warp bubble.
0.0 ratting is plainly the most lucrative thing you can do in the game and there exists a ship in this game that does it so well it's unfair.
If you really want to rat in nullsec...get yourself a tengu. The cov ops bubble immune configuration is impossible to catch and all you need is a station to refit if you're crazy and use stabs as well.
If I got a Golem deep into Branch without a scout, you can rat in a bubble immune tengu without dying.
