Edit: 12 of us in SBs succesfully held off 150+ NC in BS/assorted stuff from killing an evoke pos or whatever.

The point is kinda that there isn't a radar right now. There's just a bunch of small groups of people fighting petty wars and getting petty kills. You'll have trouble finding an eve community more welcoming to you than our alliance or more fun.

You log in 4-5hours prior to anything actually happening, you get titan bridged into a system with a bunch of other people. You do shit nothing for 4hours except maybe shoot a small pos or 2(worse than shooting rats). When your adversary actually shows up there's a bunch of warping back and forth. Then there's possibly an engagement where YOU the grunt get to spam click the broadcast list for the primary then frantically mash your nonauto repeat guns(so they don't jam from lag). If you see yourself getting yellow boxed you warp out, if you can't warp out you die(best ot log at this point since pods rarely get targeted mid fight). And that's that. This is assuming both parties decide to engage(or you could get blueballed) and neither one blackscreens on jumpin or something. Not to mention you can randomly blackscreen yourself then spend the next 2 hours trying to log in only to find yourself in a pod. Should you happen to lsoe the engagement and not lose your ship you get some complimentary speach form your fc or possibly a drama rage quit from your alliance leader(this is probably worth the wait if you want to record a piece of good nerd rage). BUT should you win well guess what! go shoot that TCU and station for another 40mins, and be sure to load up regular ammo because faction is expensive! /bittervet out P.S.: This has been a invader side recolection. I'm sure if you're the defender it's something along the lines of: get shit moved 5jumps away from your home system, percieve which system enemy is attacking(pretty key part), defend 1 out of 4 possible system vulnerability period all of them conviniently timed in your coalition's prime time for maximum blobage. Fail 3 times <- optional, defend succesfully once! ---> SYSTEM SAVED Srsly stick to 10man gangs -.-

![]() No Sov-warfare. No Pos-warfare. No random politics, renting, major powerblocks and other crap. The tough part? Getting a group of people going who are into the same stuff since it actually requires brain, practice and work to some extent. Everyone can fly in a 200 men fleet or in a 50 men gang when hostiles have 20 in theirs. Skill comes into play when your fleet has to rely on you as an individual, that's where the real fun starts. ![]()

For those of you have never been in a 'blob' -- Don't. You really just click on the name they call, then click your stack of guns. It's completely unexciting.

Eve UNI is great for certain things. PvP not being one of them. I was a member there for a few months and I still have access to their forums and the absolute best stuff you will get from E-UNI tends to be carebear-ish stuff. If you're looking for PvP join the hatchery because you'll have access to good PvPers who know what they're doing and most importantly you'll learn a lot more being in a smaller gang then any of the UNI's boring ass frig blobs. If you do join E-UNI though I'd honestly suggest you just download the downloadable classes they have, listen to those and then join TL ( ![]() edit: http://classes.eve-ivy.com/ tell me if the link works
