Also, this game isn't very good on ATI cards. I have a 8gb ram, i5 2.9ghz, Radeon 6750 computer, and when I play I don't get a smooth picture. On my dads computer, however, it runs smooth and he has a dual core 3ghz, Geforce 8800 with 2gb ram.

I'm sure they're working on it. Why do you think that many more players are going to be playing at release? Is anyone who wanted to buy this game actually waiting until the 20th to buy it or something?

It didn't work for me in 1024*800 or what it is(which it was on default), but it runs perfectly on 1920. Also, this game isn't very good on ATI cards. Nah definitely wasn't working better on my native 1920x1050. I've emailed them to ask for a refund. ![]()

I think it will be changed afterwards, although I don't know if 50's have their own bracket because noone is level 50 yet on myserver. Everything is scaled so high levels don't 1 shot low levels. Will be limited in abilities available though.

A lot of people either are buying it day 1, are just recently pre-ordering it after following it for a while, or are going to buy it shortly after release since all their friends are getting it. Not to mention, a lot of pre-order people aren't taking part in pre-release at all. Yes, there will be significantly more players playing at the official release than early access. Not to mention, as someone else said, if people buy from retailers they don't get codes?

I did like 12 hours straight of beta and I wasn't completely sold on it. So I decided to wait til release to see what happens to help my decision. I liked the beta and I didnt at the same time. There was so much stuff that was the same as WoW, but at the same time the whole star wars appeal was pretty sick. I did enjoy some of the Bounty Hunter quests. But once I got past level 10 I felt like i Was grinding way to much. Im not much of an MMO'er like 1 year of WoW 2 years of Asherons Call way back in the day. But I just graduated college and now ill be working full time and that really hurts my sc2 as when im tired my play is like shit. I love sc2 and I will always play it. Ive been Diamond(before master) and Master league since it came out, so im not some newb at RTS. Im very competitive and I am good at sc2 but as I said I will be busy and exhausted next semester alot. At the same time I dont want to come home and grind all day because that feels like work itsself. My hope is that this MMO is fun through out the whole time and isnt a grindfest that will give me enjoyment without it feeling like a second job.

Its foolish to think that the population will even double on release.

To think that all 2 million, or even close to that are currently playing early access, and that that number won't increase to 2.5-3 million within 2-3 days of release as well makes you entirely naive of how the gaming scene works, however.

Yup I agree with this. Also I know a few of my friends won't be getting the game until christmas, so I won't be surprised if on christmas day there are quiet a few new players also.

Processor: Intel® Core i5-760 Video card: FX Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 Memory: Crucial DDR3 1333MHz 2x4GB KIT, CL9 Mainboard: ASUS P7H55-M PRO, Socket-1156 HD: Western Digital Caviar® Blue 500GB For me it doesn't run very good. I mean, it should run A LOT better, if you think about the specs compared to the graphics. I think it is the Radeon cards. I think the game is built around Nvidia cards, because it works better on my fathers old computer with Nvidia card than my new one with ATI. It sucks though. I'm thinking of making a post about it in the forums!

P5Q3 DELUXE (LGA 775) 1024MB GeForce GTX 280 (ASUStek Computer Inc) 488GB Hitachi Hitachi HDP725050GLA360 (SATA) game runs perfect on high detail. i slide everything to the max it allows me (got direct x 9 so maybe the max it allows me aint high enough) and i have no problem whatsoever. i have disabled vertical sync (by default in nvidia settings, from personal experience i dont like vsync in games), run AAx2 and anisotropic. i have fraps enabled all the time (not recording ofc, just to show fps) and fps is always 45+, usually 60+. ofc when i teleport it drops a bit but thats to be expected. this is a 3.5y old rig no upgrades whatsoever and it runs it with no glitches nothing. only ever had 1 crash and i believe it was because i used stealth and some other animation simoultaneously and fucked it up.
