Tomorrow, we're going to be inviting the same number of people again; that will take us up to the last week or so of November. On Friday, we'll be inviting even more, and we'll give you an update on that tomorrow.
You'll see more servers coming online tomorrow (not necessarily all of those listed on the Server Status page, though) and almost certainly there will be some queuing. That was always expected. As a reminder, our plan here is to maintain healthy server populations post launch, and during the excitement of launch that will mean queues. That said, we'll be working hard to keep those queues reasonable.

OMG if it goes to the last week of november I should be in tomorrow then (I put my pre-order code and pre-ordered on the 25'th of november 2nd to last week of november ).
Please let them make it so :D

Sorry for the random questions, but this is the first MMO game that I have considered paying a subscription for. Thanks! 1. From what I've played it stays true to the original KOTOR games. 2. Combat is your standard MMO combat. There are some really cool combat animations. 3. The game is massive. There are around like 17 planets, not sure of the exact number. It doesn't really focus that much KOTOR lore, but the lore is good, there's a lot of focus on class quests though so some classes have a lot better lore than others. 2. How is the combat? Is is cheesy? How balance are the classes? Do you feel powerful wielding a lightsaber or does it really depend what skill path and items you choose?
Standard MMO combat system only that there's no autoattack, classes are fairly balanced and wielding a lightsaber feels pretty good and has a nice flow to it, feels sort of fast-paced. 3. Is the game massive? Bigger or smaller than WoW? I saw videos of space combat and how you can have your own ship. Is that feature useful or just a fan service gimmick?
Not in a position to comment on the size of the world. Spacecombat is just used for a few missions and dailies, you can't actually freely control your ship so it's a bit boring. You own the same ship that you can do spacecombat on, but you can't customize it at all so it's basically useless and not at all like player housing. 4. Will a hardcore Star Wars/KOTOR fan enjoy this game?

Definitely, the levelling alone is awesome and you don't really have to be into MMO's at all, if it would have been offline and singleplayer it would still have been a great RPG game that I'd gladly have purchased at this price. Thanks for the answers. If each class has its own storyline, do you know if they will eventually run into another class? Like if a Jedi player runs into a Sith quest and you choose whether or not to do it? Since this is a MMO with an emphasis on story, will there be alternate endings? Or is it too early to say? The "endings" are just based on class, a Sith warrior only has a Sith warrior questline, the republic equivalent Jedi Knight has it's own questline, so it's pretty linear and you can't be a Sith Warrior then decide to be a bounty hunter and do those quests, you'll have to make another character that starts as bounty hunter. There are dark/light side options in the quests but it just decides if you're evil or good and changes the NPC dialogues slightly, you can't change faction completely like Darth Vader.

Aahhhh, I see. Thanks for the info. That would be cool though if we can choose to change faction and class, but it would be a mess. Be cool to see a bounty hunter with force abilities, lol.

Based on Beta play, I can only answer 2 and 4. Combat I thought was flashy on the surface with some very nice attack animations and abilities. However, at it's core, the combat is same old MMO combat of waiting for cooldowns. I really want a form of movement and aiming to be added into these games. But it's as good if not better than any other MMO out there. One complaint I'd have at the beginning is how your practice sabre just kinda sits next to your back and hovers there and doesn't seem to be strapped on. Maybe after beta, they'll fix this? I was quite happy to get rid of that silly looking thing and get a real lightsabre and even better... a double light-sabre!
As for hardcore fans of Star Wars enjoying it- I think so with a couple caveats. It felt pretty Star Wars-ish to me although there is an element of Bioware/ Mass Effect feel sometimes. One of my biggest complaints as a Star Wars fan is the lack of playable alien races that would be considered core aliens. All of the ones you are given are vaguely humanoid ones and quite frankly rather boring. And I think you can play Chiss, so I guess people later forgot about them?
I get why they wouldn't use Expanded Universe content. But aside from Twi-lek's, none of the other aliens appealed to me as they were too generic. What about Sullustans, Ithorians, Rodians, or Mon Calamari? Or Wookies or Trandoshans for heaven sake? None of the iconic aliens are playable- I guess to make love story sidequests easier to manage. But I feel this is a major oversight for a game about Star Wars.

When did you put the pre-order code in? Right now only people early october got in when they put their code in then and before.

Well im thinking i should get mine on friday, i only put it in about 5 days ago but at the speed they are going friday sounds pretty reasonable (saturday at the latest) if they are already going to be in the last weeks of november by tommorow then friday seems pretty realistic.
I CANT WAIT THOUGH!!!
Hey does anyone know what the deal is when the game comes out? The moment the game comes out am i going to have to input my real Serial number for the retail game? Or is their going to be a grace period of a day or 2 when you can input the code.
This will affect my decision on whether i should go to the midnight release or not.

But I feel this is a major oversight for a game about Star Wars. guaranteed more Class's and Races will be added in the future, they started out with a fairly small pool of classes and races but considering its the star wars universe they certainly can go many different ways in both those regards, its not that difficult to add a new race really so i wouldnt be surprised if we saw one in a big content patch down the line (at the very laatest a few new races in an expansion) Its obviously going to be one of the top suggestions for new content so they may do it sooner rather than later.

There is no grace period. If you do not put a serial in at 12:01 am on December 20'th (don't know what time that 12:01 am is set to est/pst/etc no idea) you can not play until you do.

Thats fairly smart of them since the midnight release events would be pretty non existant otherwise and they are pretty good press if there is long lineups outside of all the bestbuys and gamestops
