I'm assuming that's referring to the amount of muscle memory / combo memorization needed to play the character on a competent level, not claiming that one of the top players in almost every fighter in the US is too bad to play the rest of the guilty gear cast
well I am not sure if he could learn playing I-no in 2 month training mode

oh god, that's what I'm doing right now :[
there aren't any players up here that play /\C consistently enough to practice with, so I've gone into hibernation training mode. I'm learning my matchups savior style, learning characters so I can pick apart their weaknesses. Easier said than done though, I'm just looking for an excuse to learn a character other than Venom (>ω<*) I finally learned how to do I-no's frc air dash combos with roman cancel macroed to my middle kick button though, but that shit took me hours.

I do live up here, but I haven't played any SF4 since my stay in Tokyo. Gameworks isn't too far from where I live, but I don't have the time/money commitment to grind out games there since console release is so close. I'll be behind when release comes for sure, but hopefully I'll be able to catch up with my 3s and ST experience ( ̄ω ̄;) Are you portland/seattle, red.venom? We should get some /\C games in, or some tatsunoko.
Learn Robo-ky. Awesome character. VVeeery solid damage, gay gimmicks, some good normals. Also has quite safe shoryus. He is easy to learn too, if you want I can write some guide for it.
I play only Reload though.. but AC robo is better in every way. While all the reload stuff remained the same, he got new options in AC.

hah, weird you should mention that. He's the other character I'm looking into right now. So far he's been pretty fun to play with in casuals (they're veeeery casual). Cranking heat up to 80% and going into pressure strings is fun, but I play him gimmicky at best. Air rocket spam and ticks into command grab are the majority of my game (>。≪) Usually the round ends with me 5HS frc 3 times straight cause I don't know how to play him. Mainly just wanted to try him out because Dogura is omfg pieemp.

dogura is definitely less pimp with robo than nezu (though more effective)
also, Koichi has the most entertaining robo, king of gimmicks lol

holy crap, no kidding. Just checked out koichi's ro... what the shit. Is this the Koichi as the i-no Koichi? If so, it's just as good as his main which is scary enough. 0:42 in this video is just sick...

I was playing at Gameworks about 3-4 days a week until it started snowing, havent gone in a month now. But I really only play SF4 at gameworks.. I play 3s on ggpo if you wanna hit me up on aim(KevinSorbo5000) for that sometime tho.. Im a pretty beast Oro player imo lol
I have to say, the Tournament Edition stick definitely looks superior to a Hori modded with Sanwa parts. I think that small design choices like putting the Start button on the side and having a compartment for the cable really put it a step above. I'm also glad that the sticks are intended to be easily moddable, like the HRAPs are.
If I didn't already have an HRAP2, I would definitely buy a Tournament Edition stick. (Provided I could get a converter to use it on PS2, though...)
MC bought it cause he wanted a 360 stick lolz. Even a modded regular one will be better than say the ex2 and stuff well its already better out of the box anyway. but yeah. and all the people thinking of putting cthulu boards in the 360 TE that is some good shit :D
Toodles is working on a tutorial that'll let you put a cthulhu board into the 360 TE stick that'll let you use only 1 USB cord that'll be compatible with both the 360 and the PS3 so you don't have multiple cords dangling out of your stick. There'll be a switch on the outside that toggles the stick between the two modes, apparently.
So Aksys announced GGXX: AC+ for the USA very recently. That's cool, I guess? I don't even know what the JP version of AC+ has over the US version of AC aside from the EX characters.
Gonna play more Blahbloo tomorrow, and apparently my arcade is getting T6BR real soon. ;o

Well 3s code on ggpo is really REALLY particular. I pretty much can only play people on the west coast of the US or its unplayable.. unlike ST where i can play people from japan with no probs.
i guess its partially an issue with the emulator but bleh
On January 28 2009 11:43 SayaSP wrote: its cause its cps3 yeah cause H can play samsho lagfreed. i play with charlie and chill and they are west coast and chill is west side canada
ya, ya. I play SamSho 2 and JoJo's with MC without any lag whatsoever. Inter-continental 2D fighters for life, can't wait to buy a USB converter. Then I'll actually be able to do super movements.
Oh snap!~ Just got word that T6BR is in my arcade already. Gonna go play Blahbloo and BR tomorrow.
