Swiftblade: Core, but get boots (&possibly boot upgrade) after lifetube. RA makes his ult an AOE attack and the extra farm helps him out a lot.
Chronos: I only get it on Chronos if my team is having troubles killing people inside my ult... Which I usually decide after Elder Parasite (and boots). It's not a bad item on him, though.
Bloodhunter: Mock is better, but if you're having difficulty saving for Mock, RA is a serviceable replacement.
The Dark Lady: Core, get it before boots if you can. No question.
Magebane: Situational. I don't like RA on him but if you're in a teamfight where you're wacking on a Pyromancer with others nearby, then you ult, RA can be nice. My first Quadkill came this way. I'd probably get boots before finishing RA.
Scout: Core, get it before boots if you can. I'd go so far to say that Scout is almost useless in a teamfight without RA.
Madman: I don't have enough experience with Madman to come to a firm conclusion, but RA seems to have what he needs.
Armadon: Situational. RA is good on him, but you may want to prioritize tank items, ring of teacher and Mock instead.
Hammerstorm: I like RA on Hammerstorm. I wouldn't finish it before boots.... or bottle.
Keeper of the Forest: If you're going the damage route... Mock is better. But RA can work too.
Electrician: Only if you're Testie.
Jeraziah: It's funny cuz it can work. Your teammates will rage at you, but it can work.
Pandamonium: I don't like RA on him, but it's not a bad item for him. He can rush it and do fine.
All the other heroes shouldn't even consider RA, imo.
You just listed way tooo many heroes that you think RA is good on. RA is pretty shit item really. >_<

I think you didn't read what I wrote. RA is core on three heroes. Situational on five heroes. Replaces Mock (if you're struggling w/farm) on three heroes. And it might be good on Madman (I don't play him enough to say for sure). Electrician was a joke.

mad man is much better off getting as high dmg as possible runed axe is too costly for too little but it is farily easy to get as the items are pretty low cost i men for the 4500ish of that item i could easily gotten shieldbreaker (which by the way is much better on madman)or pretty close to other useful items like sny or mock

yea but the fact that u put BF on hammer storm ever, wrecked your credibility, even if the rest is pretty sound logic.

I'll defer to your opinion on Madman-- I'm sure you've played him more than I have-- but saving for Sword of the High is never as simple as addition and subtraction. If you buy a lifetube and die right afterwards, you've lost some farm time, but you'll respawn with an item that improves your survival. If you're 875g into saving for SotH and you die, you've just lost 300+g toward that goal as well as the farm time and you're no more effective than when you died.

While we're talking about items, I have a question. I never, ever find a reason to get Riftshards. I don't think it's ever even entered my mind to buy it. Sooooo.... Who's it good on, and in what situations should you get it?

bfury sny all da way baby

This may not be viable in serious matches, but in DotA I used to have loads of fun with 2xBattleFury (RA) on dagger/arcane ring strenght heroes like tiny and earthshaker (pebbs and behe). I know, I know it sounds stupid but once you get two sustainers up you can pretty much spam spells. If you random and start with a lifetube it's that much easier.
It works on tiny because of his humongous damage and it works on ES because of the stomp skill. The trick would be to kill 1-2 heroes in 1 swoop (blink + stun/toss or ult/stun/stomp + bop them over the head once).
I know it sounds horrible but it's REALLY fun to play. Something to try in games you know you'll win or when pub-bashing.

in my humble noob opinion riftshards is never core on anyone. it shines however as a late game luxury items on heroes with steroid abilities. Dark Lady comes to mind, insane 1.2k crits very late if the game drags on can turn the tide of a battle vs other carries. But core... idk never rushed it or anything that has yielded good results.

Only hero i normally see it on is Arachna after like hotd or vang. Can't really point out other heroes that get it core, its more of a luxury on alot of heroes late in the game since it scales really well.

Tried HoN beta for the first time today with a friend. Needless to say, we got pretty smashed, but it was still fun. Mostly because I made some guys rage fucking HARD because I was a noob, but it was still fun nonetheless. I'm started to get a feel for it, but as the game went on longer and longer I kept dying more easily than the previous time. Suddenly all I know is someone would teleport next to me or some shit and I'd be dead before I even knew what happened.

Who the fuck plays andromeda like a (soft)carry? Support/ganker all the way. You'd be better off with a nomes and sheep and then you can let a real carry shine

Also why waste nomes on andro there are much more frequent casters that would prefer that item.
