Ophelia is kind of broken atm.

Hey DYH, what's your strat with Ophelia? I can do well with her when the other team doesn't really know what to do + they have squishy heroes, but in team fights it's usually a cluster fuck trying to keep myself alive while using creeps to stun/thunder clap shit around. Also, your item build?

cute because i watched a testie SS rep and then went on to play SS and did quite well. and my SS is usually horrible, more so than the rest, ophelia being the obvious exception.

So whats everyone's take on the soulreaper-ancient-stacking-at-level-1 strat? seems legit for pubs, since you can have 3 solo lanes going at the same time with a jungler, the exp per min isnt bad, neither is the gpm...

just for reference, (though i admit its a no-stat pubstomp)

Have a kinda continuous argument with friends when playing HoN, I maintain that rushing runed axe on heroes specifically, Dark Lady, Scout, Magebane, Chronos is often core.

By rush I mean before say steamboots or even the 500g boots themselves, but possibly after the iron shield and obviously after the initial stat//regen items.

They maintain that runed axe is a bad thing to rush, especially before boots and that runed axe itself is often a bad item on these heroes compared to others.

I maintain they are f ucktards, who is right? especially hoping testie could answer as that would be for me the final verdict on the matter. Made a same thread on the HoN forums but curious to what the skilled guys lurking in this thread thought on the matter.

I'd say it depends on the situation. If you're getting a good early farm, maybe even a couple kills, then screw Runed Axe, since you'll be getting a level and gold advantage anyhow. If your farm's a bit more lacking tho, get your axe as soon as possible, although you'll want boots as priority item to help you escape ganks and stuff.

Get the axe if you need to catch up on your farm.
