vang doesnt reduce the damage of his dispersion. His dispersion is based off of life lost. Vang just lets him live longer, doing more damage before they can kill him.


VG does, so does PMS, as does armor and spell resistance. Dispersion is calculated/triggered after Armor/Spell and way after Block mechanics. If VG procs, your Dispersion is going to suck in terms of damage and in terms of damage reduced, which is why its more effective to just go raw HP.

Your post is weird Alv because that first part is wrong, but the second part is right.



how does it reduce the damage dispersion does. If he block 40 damage, he still has that 40 hp for the next hit of dispersion. Dispersion is mostly based off his life. so even though hes blocking 40 damage, that dispersion from the block does less, but he didnt lose any of that extra hp, so its not like he lost the damage from dispersion.

easy way to look at it. someone hits you for 100, you block 40, and disperse rest (which is 15 damage). Someone hits you for 100, you dont block, you disperse 25 damage. But in case 1 you still have 40 hp to get hit again to disperse that other 10 damage. He doesn't lose any damage from dispersion by going vanguard.


Less than 12 damage by the way if VG procs. You disperse less than 20 damage if VG doesn't go off. And Insane is right, I said that your first part is wrong, but the second part is right, because block mechanics and armor do reduce the dispersion damage per instance based on the values, but in the big picture it doesn't matter.

So I downloaded EVEREST Ultimate Edition and together with few TLnetters we tried to solve my reset problem.
Overheating is not the problem, as the average temperature is 54C.
Graphic card is also not the problem, all details set to low, geforce 7600 GT, should be fine.

Don't know what else... :/

But here is the deal : Sometimes my CPU reset when I turn on HoN and I reach the menu... Logging in starts and bah, reset. Sometimes it's that I turn on HoN, log in, join some game, play few minutes and bah, reset.
Everything works perfectly, SC:BW, CS other programms, it happens only in HoN ;/

See if you can find a powerful PSU and see if HoN drops while you have that in.
The number you have dialed is out of porkchops.

Did you try completely removing and reinstalling HoN? If yes, take a look here: http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=22740&highlight=console
Try the host_affinity thing to see if it fixes anything

There's apparently more and more people having that problem since the last patch

Dark Seer
- Ion Shell cast an already affected unit will replace the old buff instead of stacking
- Wall of Replica damage dealt when affecting an enemy hero increased from 125 to 150
- Wall of Replica image damage increased from 60% to 70%

Dazzle
- Removed the extra vision that remains for 12/18/24 seconds. It now only reveals for a couple of seconds during the cast effect.

- Burning Spears damage rescaled from 6/8/10/12 to 4/8/12/16

- Psionic Trap now adds to your most recently placed trap to your selection panel as a secondary unit

- Urna Swarm's Scarab's cast mechanism changed. If you cast Infestation while having multiple Scarab selected, only one casts one at a time instead of all of them.

Night Stalker
- Darkness cooldown reduced from 240/180/125 to 180/150/120

Obsidian Destroyer
- Agility increased from 15 + 1.4 -> 24 + 2.0

Pandaren Brewmaster
- Primal Split's Fire Panda now has hero damage type

Pudge
- Flesh Heap reworked, it no longer gains strength from creeps. Instead he gains strength (same values as before, 0.9/1.2/1.5/1.8) for any nearby (400 AOE) dying enemy hero. You still get the bonus if the unit dies outside of the aoe if you are the killer.

Rhasta
- Scepter version of Mass Serpent Wards no longer increases ward count. Instead, the damage of the wards is increased to match previous damage output.

Storm
- Base Intelligence increased from 23 to 26

Sven
- Warcry AoE increased from 350 to 450

Techies
- Remote mine now adds to your most recently placed mine to your selection panel as a secondary unit

Tidehunter
- Kraken Shell reworked, instead of removing buffs in time intervals, buffs are now removed whenever 600 HP is lost from player based damage. The counter is reset whenever you don't take damage for 6 seconds.

Undying
- Base strength reduced from 25 to 22
- Intelligence gain reduced from 2.8 to 2.0
- Dying Illusions no longer trigger Plague Aura for regeneration

Viper
- Movement speed decreased by 5

Warlock
- Fixed Upheaval from slowing in the AOE around you rather than at the target AOE as it should

Arcane Ring
- AoE increased from 400 to 600

Armlet of Mordiggian
- Recipe restored to previous version since there is no more recipe conflict. Requires claw and 900 gold recipe instead of quarter staff and 500 gold recipe

- Damage increased from 36 to 46

- Bonus strength increased from 35 to 40
- Regeneration disable time reduced from 10 to 8

- Scoreboard title now displays all player respawn times, grouped in allies and enemy sections, so you can easily see how long someone has to revive without expanding the board manually.

no, it's 1037 gold + Time Elapsed(minutes) * 15
so @ 40 minutes it's 1637 gold, 50 min: 1787, 60 min: 1937, 70 min: 2087

this is for lvl 25 only. previous lvl 25 buyback cost was 1400 i believe
