Im a big fan of the hatchet since they gave it a range attack on cooldown, just that itself will usually make the hatchet pay for itself relatively quick. | ||

Deviating from DotA is fine but they could stick a bit more with the Newerth theme and slowly but surely change the game so it reflects that more and more. No trees behind bases and both mid ramps/surroundings look like a huge change though... | ||

flint, on the other hand, is a decent amount better at being useful in teamfights and a lot better at actually carrying a team. he does require a good amount of farm, but once he gets it he'll be doing far more than ew. flint isn't particularly popular either tho, you really have to make sure your lineup can turtle behind him and that it properly supports him (as in it prevents him from dying instantly all day) | ||

But damn I looked at the trees and thought "whoa they look so different". Then I realized I don't even know what normal hon trees look like. Stumps too good. | ||

When we're talking hardcarry Flint is way more better than EW because he's all about dealing damage with base attacks, he gets AoE damage/slow/tower kill, ministuns and long range nuke to boost it up. EW has single target silence, 2 random targets slow/nuke and AoE stun if enemies don't have truesight. EW needs to be using his skill while FB can just stand there and take people out. | ||

I haven't played a lot of HoN in a while. Just haven't wanted to. Played one game the other day and was just bored with it. I have been keeping up with the updates, but there is nothing to really draw me back into it. Maybe 3.0 will change things. Just gotta wait. | ||
