DotA's entire strategy landscape is tuned/optimized to this concept, regardless of the version tool; it's kind of funny because the penalties for pushing their towers and failing to capitalize on that (either due to line-ups or mistakes) is pretty much gg. Yet you rarely see that aspect outside of straight sell-out push line ups. | ||

It's over pushing, just how like you're not suppose to spam your skills to farm unless you need the wave cleared out then and there. Then they can hit a timing on your towers and the subsequent gold can push them into a key item, like a Radiance or a Blink Dagger. The classic overpushing scenario where they just funnel their incoming farm all into their carry and where they can cover him easily. What really amazes me is that the Russians and Ukrainians run a very typical 3-1-1 line up based on killing the tower that their hard carry is in and let their player just manage the creep wave positioning with no fear of a port in as well as the good spot for hard counter-ganks via their own TPs. Like I watched Light on his Morph just keep the creep wave at about the same place for a good number of creep waves. They caught so many teams with that strategy where their Spectre hits a fair timing (good timing, but not impossible) on his Radiance right when the other team seems to stabilize and its just back breaking cause you're suddenly down so many towers and can't really get ahead. Edit: TLDR version, when they stop giving a shit about what you can do with that map advantage, as in once wards turn into counter-gank opportunities and not runaway opportunities, you better hope you still have enough of an advantage from early-mid to carry you into end game. | ||

Instead of pbaoe slow and life leech. | ||
