And what should I get with my first money as a beastwood type player(which I seem to be the best at).

It shouldn't be that in every pro game wards are almost always bought out. They should be a reactive item that are worth situationally rather than necessity in every game. I don't even know what you mean by this, but if you're playing in a competitive game or clanwar and you don't have a tp on you past the 5 minutes mark you will get flamed.

Competitive teammates don't flame. And unless you are the best tp manager in the world, the times you use tps inefficiently weighs out the times you don't.

Just rush Boots of Travel already. Or even better, just play Furion. You can even cancel teleport without wasting cooldown!

This man speaks the truth. Guys, stop buying no tps no more. It's waste of money!

Everybody thinks hes the best and bad manners everywhere. People destroying good games by goin afk/feeding etc. and so on. It makes me so angry that I decided to uninstall this shit again. Its just not worth playing this game cus of the high number of dirtbags -.- the best advice i can give you is play with at least 1 friend or play IH's with a bunch of friends. or you can always just type /ic 4 times and then it's like you are playing with bots. just... REALLY REALLY REALLY BAD bots.

After years of playing Dota, I have learned many things. 1. tps are bad. (gosublade) 2. Crystal maiden is definitely a late gamer. (Reaper117) 3. If you're Viper and you're losing mid to SF, you rush Radiance. (Travitus)

Dont see the point in me reiterating this but what you just said makes no sense at all. the most common issue i notice is that people just tp right away somewhere after they rez. I understand this is okay to do early laning phase, but towards mid and late game, unless you're a hero that needs to still farm, i think it's better to just walk somewhere in case you need to tp somewhere. I hate it when im playing some kinda carry and their team is pushing or ganking my lane, and no one TPs with the excuse "i just used it, its on CD". what the fuck?! if you're a ganker/support, make yourself useful and save your TPs for when you really need them!!!

And what should I get with my first money as a beastwood type player(which I seem to be the best at). wards (yellow) give vision around themselves for 6 minutes. they provide a very real but indirect benefit. ever been in a lane and then suddenly a hero you're not expecting comes out of nowhere and frags you? in the process, you lose tons of gold, experience from not being near the creeps while dead, 135g for tp (unless you're gosublade), as well as giving the other team gold, experience, and flow. but a single 100g ward can prevent that by giving you vision so that heroes can't "come out of nowhere" because that "nowhere" will be lit up for you. they also help you know where the rune is (random spawn every even minute in one of 2 locations), and so on, depending on their location. it's kind of like a maphack, absolutely awesome item. your initial money is generally to augment your hero in his/her quest in the lane. as a flint, you're looking to do 2 things early on: 1) not die 2) get gold/experience. a main thing that helps with that is making your hero stronger, through the use of cheap +stat items. also, you want to stay in the lane as long as you can for reason (2), so you generally grab some regen items. depending on personal preference, lanes, and so on, item builds could be 2x +3agi items, 2x branches, tree eaters and a potion (2*150 + 2*53 + 90 +100 = 596g) armor ring, 4x branches, 2x tree eaters (175+4*53+2*90 = 567g) among many others. the basic idea is they give you stats to make your hero stronger, and regen to make your hero stay in lane comfortably. you also in general want to have no empty item slots, because item slots are very precious. for example, a branch gives +1 to all stats for only 53gold, whereas the orb gives +10 to all stats for 2100! 10 branches would be 530 so you're paying a 1570gold premium just for the fact that it all fits in one slot (since obviously you can't carry 10 branches)

Finding a stable 5v5 is hard work but you can still play a 4v5 and get better at the game to eventually crawl out of 1500 mmr shit hole. Regardless the community sucks but most pub communities suck balls lets be honest.

I started HoN as an utter newb who had played maybe 20 games of Dota and roughly 60 of LoL, but I've only very rarely met someone who was extremely ill mannered. I know I've made a ton of mistakes, I still do, and I've lost my team games, but I haven't experienced the kind of rage everyone accuses the HoN community of. Strange. I've always made it a point to follow advice though, I don't get defensive or argue when an obviously superior player exposes flaws in my game and directs me to do something. Ill be honest and say Im in the same boat. As far as communities go this one isn't AWFUL at all. Most people either don't talk or call you a noob and thats pretty much the end.
