I've heard rumours that a Final Fantasy Tactics remake is in the works for the Switch and if that is true, I will buy it 100%. I'm holding out on Tactics Orge: Reborn until it goes on sale because I have tons of Switch games that I haven't even finished yet + I recently got back in BW. I'm also playing Lego Skywalker Saga on PC which is a big timesink. (I regret not getting it for the Switch for portability). FFTA is significantly better than TO:R, in my opinion. I enjoy TO:R, and I'll continue playing it, but it really makes me want to play FFTA again.

A lot of the reviews seemed hit or miss, and scared me away from buying it (for now). Same goes for Pokemon Scarlet/Violet. I've been playing a rotation of Tactics Ogre: Reborn, Chained Echoes, and Romancing SaGa -Minstrel Song- Remastered. All three are decent RPGs - I'd give each of them a B+. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion comes out on the 13th, which I'm excited for. Also, I finally bought The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Pikmin 3 Deluxe, Okami HD, and Shin Megami Tensei V. I should be set for the foreseeable future!

Like easily the best pokemon game released so far in that scenario. But if fps stutter and glitches annoy you, stay clear, stay far clear!

I also had a question about the Mario+Rabbids ranking. I just started playing Kingdom Battle a few days ago and I really enjoy it. I'm interested in your reasons for ranking Sparks of Hope 2 levels higher. I myself have not yet played it but I did see some reviews and they mentioned that one of the big changes in Sparks of Hope is that instead of fighting your battles on the actual game level, instead, each level has a few generated battle arenas/maps (I don't know what to call them) that you do your fights on which can repeat etc. Did you find that as an issue coming from Kingdom Battle?

Thanks! I definitely don't have enough time to make a YouTube review channel, unfortunately! Having the battles essentially be mini-games on other small maps, rather than the normal "world", could hypothetically disrupt the immersion a little, but most of those battles were voluntary - I chose to fight battles when I wanted to take a break from running around the main world and doing a million other fun things - so I found it more as a fun change of pace rather than an unwelcome interruption. I was also initially worried that swapping out the battle grid system in KB for a more fluid open-movement battle arena in SoH would be a little too flexible for my taste, but I found the additional movement to be even better. The combat mechanics were cleaner and more diverse (including the skill/tech trees, which I enjoyed a lot), the regular world was way more interesting to me, and I think that overall they took a really good game (KB) and upgraded it with a lot of quality-of-life improvements, into a really great sequel! There aren't many games where I prefer the sequel to the original, especially when the original sets the bar pretty high, but this one worked for me. I think I appreciated SoH even more after playing KB, so that I had plenty of points of comparison.

I've played a bit of FF8 in the past and completed FF9 including getting the gold Chocobo so I sunk a lot of hours into it. I had considered purchasing the new FF7 Remake but found out that the game currently out is Part 1 of 3 or something of the FF7 story. If all 3 parts were already released, I would've probably bought it. I have always wanted to play FF7 and hope to start it soon and then play the Crisis Core FF7 prequel. I hope you enjoy it! I think FF7's gameplay aged pretty well (although not perfectly), but completing FF7 and then playing Crisis Core is absolutely going to be an amazing experience ![]()

I'm expecting to have an awesome time playing FF7. I do like that in the FF7 port on the switch you can speed up battles. I think that will make the experience much better, especially when grinding for spells/items/experience.
