Is there new footage or interviews or something?
Have a feeling they'll lean really hard on the newer generation of characters just because they're more popular right now, and trickle in old favorites over time (DLC probably tho ). Similar to Heroes. Kind of a shame because even though I'm a series noob and FE13 was my first, Heroes introduced me to some older characters I've grown to like via using them and reading about them, even though I originally only leveled them for a specific ability/synergy, etc. Same could be true in Warriors, but yeah I expected a majority to be from 13+14 all along.

They've already explicitly stated the cast is predominantly Archanea/Awakening/Fates. It's dumb, but was pretty easy to see coming and I don't really care about this kind of game. Heroes' and SoV's popularity probably game too late in the development cycle for them to add a lot of new characters outside of DLC.

That style but with different IPs I mean. I haven't played an actual Dynasty Warriors game in over a decade but I enjoyed the Zelda one on Wii U. It's not like it's an incredible or deep game, but for 100+ hours of half-brained entertainment while I was watching Netflix or something it was good. Replayability with tons of repeat missions having specific requirements or handicaps to unlock new stuff. Pretty much the only reason I'm looking forward to FE Warriors a little bit, same shit different characters lol. Not really expecting any more than that.
I don't expect most people that are veteran fans of the FE franchise to play or enjoy it at all.

I feel like every popular franchise in Japan has received some sort of musou game.

I'm surprised Lissa v Mist is as close as it is

Pretty sure it's the biggest (at least most outspoken) fanbase after 3ds Emblem.

Tellius fans are more outspoken but I'm pretty sure Elibe has more fans overall. Way more people started the series on FE7.

How appreciated is the Sacred Stones?
I feel like I'm one of the few people who REALLY liked it.
Elibe is good, but I don't know where I'd peg it as far as favorites go.

Speaking of Sacred Stones, I'm thinking about trying that out on Wii U VC after this FE13 playthrough. Wonder how bad the culture shock will be after only playing 13+14.
Would like to play PoR / RD too probably but too lazy to dig out a GC and/or Wii right now and find the games. I'll probably just Dolphin them down the road but that's work too. Maybe they'll hit a VC before I care enough to try that lol.

Elibe is good, but I don't know where I'd peg it as far as favorites go. Elibe crowd generally likes SS, but SS has it's own super hardcore fanbase. Don't think it's as loved as Elibe but it has a solid fanbase, especially L'Arachel and the wondertwins.

Though to be fair, L'Arachel is fantastic.

FE8 is a game that I would simply describe as "a little too ___". A little too short. A little too easy. What it does good, it just doesn't do enough of it.
I actually do like it better than FE7 now though.

Even though a lot of the flaws that FE8 commonly gets panned for are also present in FE7 also.

Frudgey, can you solo FE6 with armor knights for me plz?

Seth is more than "a little too good", at lease Lucius in FE7 is fun and awesome.

Seth honestly isn't that much more gamebreaking than FE7 Marcus.
