So I think I've done every quest The Institute has after you take over, just Political Leaning quests and clearing ghouls etc and those are repeatable.

So yeah Fallout 4 great FPS, terrible RPG. No way to direct the Institute to do something like upgrade Synths, start improving the Commonwealth... Nothing.

Just realized a potential plot hole... The Classical Radio station is used by the Institute for it's signals etc. We know Freedom radio is broadcast from the Castle, Diamond City radio from Diamond City. Shouldn't someone wonder where the Classical Music is coming from? Is it also from Diamond City?

The Machinist was from Fallout 3, which is only about 700 miles from the Commonwealth and the timelines are close enough.

He was a fairly crazy guy who took on the role of the Machinist to counter another disturbed person who used giant ants. Apparently his crazy kicked it up a level...

Curious to see how this one will play out.

It was very short, but the custom robots is rather neat. They are functionally custom made settlers for defense/transport lines or to man stations. They aren't even all that expensive really, at least for the base model.

Lots of required skills though, robotics expert, armorer, scientist and more I think for the various loadouts.

I wish Bethesda would just get rid of local leader and replace it with something else that or just make supply lines available at a certain number of Charisma. Stores seems nice if/when they work and so far the DLC's stop when you can't build a certain something which shared resources would solve immediately.

In a post on its community page today, Bethesda made gaming fans aware that Fallout 4‘s 1.5 Update patch has gone live via Steam for all of the post-apocalyptic RPG’s players on PC, which includes support for the forthcoming Far Harbor DLC, fresh gaming optimizations, and perhaps most excitingly, the game’s new Survival Mode. Although PC fans are getting first dibs on what is to be the open world title’s highest difficulty setting, Bethesda ensured console players that it will be available to them soon enough, as the mode is set to drop for Fallout 4‘s PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions sometime next week.

As previously announced by Bethesda, Fallout 4‘s Survival Mode has been completely overhauled and refined due to feedback from its PC beta. For those unaware, the game’s Survival Mode is set to introduce brand new challenges to up the ante in terms of testing players’ mettle, with new features like the restriction of fast travel, saving only after sleeping, increased lethality, diseases, fatigue, danger, and loads more.

As is to be expected, Fallout 4‘s 1.5 Update not only includes the aforementioned features, but also plenty of fixes for bugs and glitches, as well as general improvements to the game’s performance and stability.
