If so, that pretty much makes it the best gun ever right? It should. And no not the best weapon by far. I think kneecapper on anything with a good ROF is considered the most broken but only because bleeding is melee only? If bleeding is avalible for ranged it would be the most op. Explosive on anything shotgunny or if thats not avalible full auto is also completly OP. Those prefixes are good because of shoddy mechanics tho and break the game so keep that in mind. The best thing working as intended would probably be doubleshot on a sniper type weapon.

Most OP is a shotgun with explosive bullets though. Every pellet explodes for massive damage per shot.

I don't know how you would deal with suiciders or sniping enemies like on the elevator ride down from GNN. I guess I should rephrase that, more like a melee-oriented build because the bat seems like a very enjoyable weapon to use overall. I'm getting tired of firearms.

You need to be friends with the Minutemen while simultaneously be or become enemies with the BoS. Killing a named BoS NPC is one way to become their enemy.

Do I just attack the BoS until they are my enemy? + Show Spoiler + I shot Elder Maxon in the face, jumped off the air ship in my powerarmor, then went to Preston where I had the option of saying "I declared war on the brotherhood". That was followed by a quest to blow up their airship and the battle in the video. There is a similar event when you declare war on the Institute with the minutemen, which I did by shooting Father in the face and then going to Preston.

I went with the BoS and the ending was pretty anticlimactic. I just killed everyone in the Institute alone and then went to the BoS to do the actual quests to destroy the Institute. That giant robot was just a giant laggy pain. If you want to enjoy the game I recommend not getting a free power armor and maxing the armorer, gun nut and science perks, because I was pretty much invincible with insanely powerful weapons on top of it. I didn't even realize you could freeze time for crits and easy headshots until I had almost finished the story, never needed it and probably would have ignored it by choice anyway. Overall I'd say 6/10, the first half of my playthrough was fun and then I got overpowered with infinite money and just looked for the way to finish the story.

+ Show Spoiler + Giant robot? That seemed sufficiently vague to me.

I'm using an Instigating (double damage if enemy is at full health) Laser Musket with full points in sneak attacks and Deacon's perk. It does something ridiculous like 2700 damage on a full health target with a single shot. Still doesn't one shot a lot of high level Mutants or Deathclaws but thats due to their innate energy resistance. Been searching for a Regular Sniper rifle with the same effect to use along side it for those particular types of enemies.
