I hope i'm mistaken.
Bethesda.. This is not Skyrim. THIS IS FALLOUT! And it shall never be changed! Just like war! Ok so now lets wait till E3 :p No, we are going to make sweeping statements about a game that isn’t out yet and have like negative information on. This is the internet, we don't do logic here.
Are you actually excited after this trailer? They tried to hype it, they managed to do it, and then they relase this trailer? When you played Fallout 1 and 2 you could literraly "fell" the glow and radiation comming out of the screen, Fallout 4 trailer dosn't even come close to that feeling.
They reveal a traier that is dissapointing dunno why you feel the need to bring the "internet logic".

Guys please accept already, Tim Cain will not return to make the next Fallout title in isometric format. The game is currently Bethesda's money grab, not a precious gem of some crazy game developer, deal with it. It is over.

Okay first pessimistic impression over.
Solid story and a good baseline with tools for modding is all i want, really. Oh, and a huge fucking concrete jungle, like in washington DC only bigger and more interactive

I find the concept of judging a game on its ability to reproduce the feelings you felt in 2007 to be silly and a really poor way to judge anything.
Its a teaser trailer and I don't write off games based on the fact that I didn't get the same feelz as when I watched the trailer for fall out 3 or earlier games. I was a different person then and I have almost no information about this new game.
So, yes, I am excited because Fallout and Elder Scrolls have never disappointed me. A trailer won't change that.
Edit: To be clear, I liked the trailer a lot. Its a good change of pace.

i'm excited. but to each his own. no need to try and convince each other about what you think about the trailer lol... can't wait to see what they show at E3.

I might buy this eventually, but this trailer doesn't particularly excite me. It looks like a slightly updated FO3/New Vegas. I never bothered with FO3, but went ahead with New Vegas after some people whose opinion I value recommended it. I expect this will be more like FO3 and less like NV.

I don't know why people are being so negative. I played FO3 at release, and this trailer made me shed an actual tear.
Then again, it's probably the dog's fault.

Then again, it's probably the dog's fault. People love to hate irrationally, judge by the cover and live by the fuzzy misguided feelings of nostalgia and hate change, so it's really human nature to hate on a game like this after only a teaser even if it seems completely illogical to do so.

I don't even get the idea that the graphics might not be improved or updated. We haven't seen the scope of the game, how much of the city is rendered in the open world and how loading will work. If they expand upon Skyrim and have almost zero loading screens for internal environments and large cities, it should be a huge step up.

Then again, it's probably the dog's fault. Quite frankly lot of old fans of Fallout as well as RPG enthusiasts felt very let-down from Fo3 and Skyrim so they expect the same from Fo4. We don't know about the actual game other than a three minute trailer but graphically things aren't even that impressive so that doesn't help when people are nitpicking every detail to criticize the game.

Fallout 1 was relased in 1997 and thats when i played it. I expect a trailer with "advanced technology" used in it to be able to recreate "wasteland" feeling way better, dunno why, i guess im just using internet logic.

Those folks will never be happy with a AAA release of an RPG. The simple fact is that the budget of these games requires them to be made more accessible. There are plenty of games for the hard core RPG fans out there, so I don't really see an issue beyond them shitting up a thread every once and a while.

Just out of curioisty, can you find anything in the trailer that couldn't have been in a trailer for any Fallout game?
I was kind of hoping there to be some kind of teaser on new themes, environments or so. Even Elder Scrolls games their personalities with different parts of game universe being explored, but the Fallout trailer seemed purely just repeating iconic stuff that has been around since Fallout 1 & 2.
I guess it's a wait and see thing, but so far it seems rather uninspired to me.

There's a focus on airships that wasn't in any previous Fallout game, so maybe we'll see them more in gameplay.
TBH, the gameplay has always been the problem with Fallout for me. VATS was horrible, aim stat meant that even good aim didn't really matter, and all the enemies took forever to kill no matter where you shot them. Hopefully they fix that.

Main characters voice does sound like Troy Baker. Wouldn't be surprised to see him on this.

lets hope that the Witcher 3 has upped the bar and forced Bethesda's hand.
