That might work, but waiting one minute is too long IMO, unless you know the other team plays extremely passive. If they play even just a bit for info, they'll see that there's no one on the other site. And as you mention, people make tons of noise in MM, so that's easier to predict.
By the time you push, you might face more people on the site, have been backstabbed, etc. so it's not that simple.
You have a few choices on eco besides just rushing. I like playing patiently while holding off angles, then gathering somewhere you can quickly get in a CT face like squeaky -> NBK or quads on Cache, underpass -> connector or window on Mirage, rush him and try to play off that first kill. Holding first make sure no CT can really push too far and get in your back. Then you still try to reduce the distance of engagement and try to overwhelm.

Everything can work just aseverything can just not work. Rushing eco round can work just as easily as waiting or trying for picks, depending on the team and coordination. Problem is when people get so fixated on a single strat, that they cannot take advantage of an opportunity that opens up or respond to a problem that occurs.

You want MM people to think for more than two seconds after they've decided what to do at the start of the round?

Another cheater. Feels like it is getting worse.

Why the fuck do they always have to wait until they down x:10 or something before they toggle -.-... if you have to be an ass at least make it quick...

It is called "hiding"... and they do it really bad.

No, I am talking toggling super obvious aimbot as soon as you are down X rounds to the point where it is almost ragehack level of obvious, sometimes even bragging about it. I rather get a fast 16:0 then those games where you can't just leave it since your team wants to carry on but it is a doomed mission. The thrill of mostly having to kill just this single guy is nice for one game per session but I face those fuckers 3 times out of 8 matches. 2 times on the opposing team with them not willing to kick him and once on our team, probably boosting the one guy that kept refusing to kick him and even though the rest of us just idled in spawn or jumped around the enemies just had no chance. Steamrolled us 10:5 on their T-half on mirage then this little cunt toggles while his mate giggles in chat and GG. I don’t mind losing, I am just upset I wasted about 2h today not having any fun at all. And I can't even get more accounts so I can just abandoned the game and eat the cooldown because I don’t have the time to get my second account up to GE and trashing lower leagues just feels bad.
I swear, if I ever get into the fortunate position of being in charge of a company that releases any game with a PvP-multiplayer in it, I will have my lawyers create some legally binding ToS for the multiplayer part, that allows me to track down anyone that gets caught cheating. The cheater will then get hanged by his feet and receives a swift right hook to the liver, if he is lucky even by the CEO himself – me, otherwise by a martial artist/mobster of my choosing. He will also have to cover the costs for tracking him down and the salary of the martial artist. Of course I will be working for free in that case. He is then free to further take part in the multiplayer, but every time you get caught, you get punished for the number of bans you received. In addition, after the first ban, the company no longer has to inform you about when they are going to punish you so you can get punched at any moment. I am going to hire a bunch of escort ladies/men whose whole purpose will be to get close to a repeat offender, to gain their trust, pretend to enter a relationship with them and when sexy time is about to happen BÄM. Right hook to the liver.

Ragehacking. If you can't win by legit means (and you can't, because you got to that mmr by cheating), then turn on the hacks!

The problem with ToS is that they need to follow the law xD Most of them includes points that doesn't, and will not hold up in court, but are put in because people don't generally take companies to court over a videogame. I would think that including points about violence to the offenders would take a different turn

Also, you can have the most horrible ToS for hackers, you still need to find them before.

I am just going to setup my company in a region with some really shady laws and let the hackers get abducted. I am going to build the Guantanamo for hackers with a nice wall around it and they are going to pay for it! Hell, I could just repurpose the current Guantanamo then I won’t even have to search for some fucked up people as employees. Or it will be located in north korea or something. My lawyers will figure something out if I get the money for it. I just need a way to make enough money so my games don't have to pay for themselves and to support my warchest.

Sell your games and the hacks for it. Then ban the hackers and let them buy new games and hacks.

And it's going to be the greatest wall you've ever seen. A great wall, magnificent wall! And they are going to pay for it! No one is going to be able to climb over it, and even if they did they wouldn't be able to get down! Unless with a rope or something... You'll see. It's going to be amazing!

I was in a game and my team kept saying their top fragger was hacking. I was on the fence myself, also noted his private profile. Then one of my teammates(I did solo Q) said "fuck this, I'll be back". My other teammates said to call a timeout and wait and watch. I think they were a 4 man...3 man at least. He comes back as a spinbotter....then the other guy who we thought was hacking lifted the veil and he began 100% aimbot no more hiding...I reported them both.
Disgusting...

Got a spinbotter this session aswell. He had some expensive skins too and I have seen this multiple times by now. I thought valve fixed the “only play X games per Y days so you won’t get overwatched”-exploit because this shit will get you 100% banned via overwatch. Or does simply no one review overwatchcases anymore? Is it even still a thing? I don’t know since I apparently play to less frequent to get overwatch.

At this very moment I am in a MM game and every round the server starts to lag extremly. Extreme rubberbanding for all but 3 players.
Two of these players are in my Team, one plays during the lag phase (all pings over 300) with Ping of 40 and the other one with ping 120. Both are obvious aimers, really balant. One of the enemies sits at ping 200 during lags and makes esiest kills of his entire gaming life...
Man what is wrong with this game.

Anti-Overwatch-Hacks are a thing.
Even more QQ:
It is a 2v2... I am alive and a m8. M8 goes afk with the bomb. I kill him, take the bomb, win the round. Next round: M8 kills me. GG
Even the most QQ:
KevinS finally got banend by ESEA. But its a manual cheating ban and their AC didnt do it. Hey ESEA, how was it about no manual demo bans?

I like to believe that this is a myth, just like it was a myth the first time it came around. It would most likely require valve to have seriously fucked up and let the client handle stuff that should be handled by the server. Not that I would put that past them, but I just hope this isnt the case... Brings back dark memories of a game I used to play pretty much t top level where the anti cheat was almost worthless so banning by manual demoreview was the only real thing. Unfortunately the replay-system was absolute shit aswell. A bunch of very high caliber players including me got banned all of a sudden because of manual review, I looked into it and after 1 1/2 week of dedicated work I was able to present the GMs with a proof of concept programm which allowed me to manipulate replays so it looked like you where cheating so they had to ditch manual banning as well to some degree.
After a month of looking deeper into it and how shit the game coding really was, I was even able to manipulate other player in game. Talked about it with the GMs apparently there was a leak and a few month later the developers finally had to make serious changes to their game since even kiddies had now access to tools like mine. Of course valve is more competent then that but still. If there really is an anti-overwatch hack either they have really fucked up or they slightly fucked up and someone put alarming efforts into it. Easiest way to go about it would be corrupting the demo, depending on how they are recorded but since they always seem to work for me it can't be that.
