Even when I win it isn't fun because I still have these terrible teammates and the other team is just worse. Really dumb that valve completely reset my account despite having 600+ hours on record, a "5 year veteran coin", and having been a steady dmg last time I played regularly.

I get the absolute worst teammates. People just force buy and push everywhere. People who don't know to walk. Players who just teamflash at the start of every match. Multiple players with 200 pings who don't speak English. I end up pulling like 20+ frags while losing 16-4 almost every time. Had this little kid yesterday who was like waiting for the enemy to turn the corner he was holding in a 1v1 just give himself away by making random footsteps. Dude turns the corner and prefires him. I tell him that he should be quiet in those situations to get the jump on the guy and hes like, "Yeah im sure a rank 3 would know better than me." I don't know why valve would think that just because a player hasn't played in a couple years that they would completely forget how to play cs and have to start at the same level a complete cs noob has to. Afaik the reasoning behind the rank decay has more to do with avoiding people from getting carried to a rank and then sitting on it forever (I think you need a win to refresh the inactive cooldown, but I could be wrong). They want to avoid having a large pool of inactive globals. It's a bit annoying yea, but at the same time if you play a lot you will get your rank back by just carrying. If you want to speed this up you should really duo-queue with someone of your level and your rank will skyrocket in no time. Being two to hold and take sites really helps. Other than that, if you hyper-carry (as mentionned before) it really goes fast. My second account got knocked back in gold nova something from LE I think, and my main being Global atm, I was absolutely crushing those poor guys with 40+ kills games. If anything it's funny for me and really unfair for them, but I can't really do anything about it since I need to rank back up.

The bigger problem with rank decay in my opinion is that it hurts us casuals. I only have time to play a game a day (some days none), yet I'm not ranking up with 70-80% winratio (and bunch of MVPs every round) just because the game doesn't think I play often enough to warrant it.

Yeah the reason I took so long off from this game is because it drives me crazy with all its buginess and that it takes too much time to play when I have plenty of real life obligations to tend to. That's why I am pretty pissed. I just don't feel like I have the time to try and rank up to a decent level where my teammates actually know how to play. Sure I can grind it out and try to "hyper-carry" but I simply don't belong in this low of a level and the game should know that based on my previous ranking and stats. I am not asking to be dmg again, I just want to play with people who know how to play. Not people whose idea of fun is how annoying and edgy they cane be to their teammates.

They had regular stats. Now I am no wizard but that looked like smurfs to me. I dont even know how they got into the game because we had 5 dmg and the other team had 3 dmg and them. What the actual fuck. This is bullshit. mmr and rank are separated. There's a good chance the game is using a uncertainty factor to dictate how they rank up. If someone creates a new account and start winning a lot, the uncertainty variable will increase and they wont actually start ranking up until they start losing again. This is to stop people from ranking up and down too quickly just from having a lucky or unlucky streak. While we don't actually know if cs:go has this, it's likely seeing as other games with similar systems (sc2 for instance) uses it. That coupled with the fact that queuing as a 5-stack you are likely going to meet people who are similar rank as the best one on your team (it does not take average mmr. Presumably, again we don't know, your team mmr is calculated from the one with the highest, and subtracted a little bit depending on how far away the other are) (you can meet 5 stacks while soloquing in cs:go btw, but most likely the other 4 on your team is also a premade). So it's entirely possible to face opponents who are similar rank as you and who are queued up with silvers

You can rank up playing soloQ just fine. But you won't rank up playing as a soloQQ. If you are as good as you think you are, it'll be no problem to rank up quickly. Sure, you have to accept that this is a team game and a lot of factors are involved where you can't directly influence the game itself, but that is true of any rank.

![]() I have to do this to you because I can't do it where I want to (on a job application!) On March 12 2016 06:24 Clonester wrote: Same for me. I dont want the app on my phone, just for the sake of not wanting it. Now I cannot sell ~1$ and lower skins anymore. 15 days hold till it is listed, the prize changes, either you get too less or you cannot sell it. For me, I just give all my uslessdrops a friend, he likes to gamble with 1 cent skins and as over 1000 cases in his inventory as "investment". He is happy with em. priCe, C = Cost priZe, Z = you win Zero :D

I find the easiest way to fix this. Is whenever you play a game, and someone on your team has common sense, send them a friend request. You don't have to play with them forever, just until you get to the point where you don't have retarded teamates. If you top fragged as well send an invite to the top fragger on their team. You can't control all your teammates but you can do your best to have as few of them as possible.
