A valve employee mentionned on reddit that they indeed made changes to the ranking system to recenter the ranks (bell curve around gn4) in the middle and decrease the number of people in high ranks. Pinnacle today where 2 swedish guys who claimed they recognized my voice from a match yesterday, said that I acted toxic and refused to drop me or give proper info. They propably where just trolling, but by that time I was playing on my second account where I still needed one win to get my rank and I already lost 2 games because of guys like this. Shamefully, I just lost it. I teamkilled one of the guys after he once again refused to drop me in a critical round and took his weapon. Congratulation you 2 swedish fucks… you managed to break my cs-record of never acted toxic since I started to play. In other words, today I acted more like a 10 year old than when I actually was 10. Probably a good time to take a break from CS once again because I honestly feel really rubbish because of the way I handled the situation. | ||

playing on inferno in my placement matches and i'm having a great game, 16-8 but one of my asshole teammates steals the bomb every round and refuses to plant it, basically just gifts the other team multiple rounds. I try kicking him multiple times and some other asshole on my team votes no so it's consistently 3-2 so he doesn't get kicked. I don't know the kick mechanics very well so I kill him at the start of the round so we can at least play 5v4 legit, and I get auto kicked with a two hour cool down. God fucking damn it man FUUUUUUUUU | ||

Being able to control anger, in the sense of "not being angry", is hard, really hard. But you can, to some point, control, and are responsible, for what you do with that anger. What I usually tend to do, and I bless the ptt for that, is letting my frustration out off the mic. And then I try to stay calm and collected when I talk. TKing is never a good idea anyway, you're better off forcing on your money if they don't drop and try to do the best you can while acknowledging that you can't control whom you get paired with in soloQ. Then, I don't want to judge/blame you, that's not something I'd be even relevant to do, as I have myself raged or been negative ingame as well.  I just try to get to the point where I don't have to do that anymore. I feel it's "the right thing" to do. Both for me, and for others. The "bad thing" here would be listening to pork. Whatev' he says. | ||

My smurf is only LE now after losing the last 3 of my placements + that draw which is actually nice. I can now play with my stack again and just abandon my main in terms of CSGO. Problem solved and I won’t have to think any more about how shitty my reaction was  | ||
