T is generally much better in lower ranks due to AK being more powerful than the M4. If both sides miss equally much, the ak will do more dmg + the chance of instakills makes entries easier. It also helps that CT requires strategy which is simply nonexistent in pub matches below DMG rank'ish (You want more than just "2 a, 2 b and one mid", and everyone tossing all of their nades the first 30 seconds of the match). Cache is one of the more balanced maps. The really unbalanced maps are Nuke (luckily out of the pool), Cobblestone (about 60-40 CT sided) and Overpass (Very CT sided. For some funny reason, it has switched to being extremely T sided in progaming lately. I'm guessing all teams decided to practice their T only or something, figuring their CT was "good enough")

Cobble is T sided Dust 2 is either balanced or T sided Cache is balanced Overpass is CT sided Mirage is fairly CT sided Inferno is fairly CT sided, if you know to work the map then some teams(like Na`Vi) can have devestating T sides though. Train is fairly CT sided but once again if you know how to work the map you can get quite a few T rounds. In general the strong teams(such as nV and TSM) can have devestating T halves even against other strong teams. The M4A1s nerf made CT side overall quite weaker I feel, or maybe its just people are feeling the maps out better/more.

Atleast not at higher level play According to Valve statistics its 60-40 in matchmaking, which is the worst in the pool except for Nuke. edit: We really need to separate MM and progaming. They vary wildly. edit2: Anyone able to find that interactive map balance chart? I don't mean the downloadable ones from Valve's blog from like a year ago. I can't for the life of me find it ![]()

Maybe like 8-7/9-6 CT. | ||

So I believe I do more damage pr second with that weapon on average. Even compared to AK.

I come from SC2, and I feel like CSGO has way too many ranks.

What he is saying is that at a low number of games played MMR is very streaky, it eventually evens out as you play more, and yes thats exactly why will happen as you win and lose more games your MMR will close in to where the game thinks you should be. It will then be harder to de rank but also harder to rank up. Ranking is still very streaky though.

I know there was one You could click on the map you wanted, and it would show every other map in the pool below. Everything I can find on the 5 first pages on google are either uncitated, shows no date, or is a year old. Valves latest is from 28. january, and it shows cobble barely in favor of ct at 52.2%. That's oh so many patches ago tho
