I don't think it includes future content. They were pretty specifically saying that the game comes with all announced heroes.

I think the game needs to have all heroes unlocked since much of Overwatch's balance is predicated on heroes countering other heroes. Like if they had a rotation and Bastion and Reinhart are F2P that week but there is no Tracer it would be insanely frustrating trying to deal with them.

What do games with single player cost then 100$ ??? Most games when they launch cost $60... you do play other games, right?
This seems very competitive priced compared to CoD / Battlefront ect. Which I assume is why you can't get the $40 base-game on console.

Do we even know if there are going to be heroes coming out periodically? People keep assuming that, but we also assumed it was going to be F2P =p.

Would have bet on a 20-30 price tag. I hope the amount of content increases a lot for 40$.

Like that Blizzard is out there to trick us, even though the majority of their games are boxed releases.

I assumed that was referring to heroes between now and release, but then again the splash screen for pre-orders already says 21 heroes, which is everything revealed so far. So maybe 21 is all we get on release.

I know for sure I am not going to buy it for 40$. I was planning to try it if it was free and maybe if I get hooked buy something later in the expected F2P model. Now? No chance I give them more than 20$, will need to wait until the price is lower and than maybe buy it if I don't have better things to play.

$70 AUD for the base edition. I'll still buy it because I thoroughly enjoy how the game looks and plays from what I've seen, but I'm more concerned about how big the scene will be with the amount of consumers this will cut out.
|
Perhaps you should be more concerned about the enjoyment you will gain from playing the game rather than the size of the scene?

I will probably buy this game for 40$ if I get into the beta and have even a small amount of fun.

God, i love D.Va. Looks so much fun. Although her handgun seems pretty damn strong.

Considering that SW:Battlefront costs 60 euro... 40 euro for Overwatch is pretty damn good. IMO this model is 100% better than the dodgy F2P bullshit.
