I'm ok paying $40 (below the average price of a game) for a Blizzard game. They make quality stuff. Even if future champions have to be unlocked?

So for 40 bucks they defenitely have to add at least 2 more gamemodes plus maps. Some sort of singleplayer experience would be also nice. I'm really curious what's about to come on the Overwatch panel.

What do games with single player cost then 100$ ???

I would be very disappointed in Blizzard if that is the plan. =/

I was thinking this game might become next big competitive FPS but with 40$ price tag not much chance for that. CS:GO remains king. Also Valve will be happy that TF2 will survive because it had no chance if Overwatch was F2P.

Both have a top down view and you click stuff with your mouse, but thats's it. Overwatch and CS are both First Person Shooters. And that's it.

That muselk guy just said that future heroes and maps will come for free.

I love this fictional world people create where other games are destroyed and end when new games are released. Where games costing money prohibits them from having a fan base and other games are king of some weird hill the person created in their mind. Where video games are either winning or losing to each other. Its a war that the people makings the games are not aware of, but its very REAL. The REALIST.
Video games, where tribalism and fandom are king.

You can stop pretending we live in this world where Blizz is going to force you to sell your bed to have the full game now.

top 3 e-sport games are LoL, DotA, and CS:GO
then it's probably SC2 if we're looking at prize money followed by Hearthstone (high stream viewership)
after that, it's Smite?
anyways, I'm sure there will be initial demand for Overwatch as an e-sport, whether the demand will be sustainable and grow like it has in LoL, DotA, and CS:GO, I'm not so sure with the $40 price tag

Good to know, I was worried after they left the door so wide open during the opening.

It does not make it true. Sc2 is king of RTS, LoL of MOBA, CS:GO of all FPS.
