Some of the servers have begun to rubber band in NA. I'm done for the day anyway but good thing they are actually being stress tested

Now we know why they shut down the WoW Priv server. They wanted a real stresstest, included a angry kiddy DDOS.

Most fun i had in a long time on a game. I like Tracer too much to play any other class at the moment, but as a TF2 scout player that's what i expected.
Glad i finally got to try the game it was everything i expected and more.

i want Overwatch to have Battleborn style PvE content added to it.
no comparison between Overwatch and Battleborn when it comes to the shooting mechanics, how tight the game feels. etc.
Overwatch is 1000X better than Battleborn.

Glad everyones having fun so far. Once you hit 25 and start comp games you'll see how tryhard everyone gets. Its really intense.

after playing some games in this stress beta, I must say that I prefer TF2 all the time. I like the long games in hightower, and the siege feel that gives dustbowl.
The equivalents of engineer here are so sad, not because they don't have uber sentries, but because they are absolutely worthless without a sentry near. with panic attack I think I can kill any other class (if they miss their shots). with symetria is so sad to press m1 while you are praying to not be quickly obliterated.

I have zero experience with FPS games, but Blizzard invited me to play closed beta about a month ago and then a second time this weekend, so I'm trying the game out  Looks fun so far, although I need to get used to the WASD keyboard controls ^^;;
Any cardinal rules when playing Overwatch/ FPS games in general?

Also, is ranked disable during beta, or you need X lvl to get it ?

You need level 25 for competitive.
As far as "Quick play" goes i'm not sure, ive been getting matched with level 80-90's at level 10 so i'd like to know if there is any MMR also. At first i thought it was just based on level.

there is an MMR, but the game balances teams. So if there is a 4 stack of high MMR people that wait 10 minutes. they usually get 2 noobies vs a 6 non party people. So MMR works solid for a good population. And like any matchmaking will have troubles if there aren't that many. Or in case of the stress test aton new ones.

So nothing we get here will transfer (skins, emotes, etc). Will they transfer from Open Beta, since it's basically launch? I wonder.
I'm having so much fun. Thoughts:
-Zarya feels awkward to me. She's pretty amazing if she has another front/midline character to put a shield on, but without one she just feels kinda meh to useless. Rather unimpactful without her ult.
-Mei is super, super annoying. Like, Tracer is annoying, but fucking Mei just wrecks everyone that gets into her range.
-Whenever I play Bastion, Genji always reflect kills me LOL
-Maps feel pretty good, imo. Sad I can't play the other maps, but I'm not tired of these yet. Can't think of any glaring balance issues right now, though I'm still learning everything.

Yea i agree about Mei sadly there is a lot of classes in Overwatch that use the "W+M1" playstyle.
Still having lots of fun, just as i said above there is a bit too many noob friendly classes for me, but i'm not complaining it is a blizzard game after all, i know their business model by now with catering to both casuals / hardcore etc.
