I guess they are expecting me to pre-purchase FPS game, without knowing if I will be able to run it at 100+ fps... Yeah, not gonna happen. Also, I know this is an old practice, but still, why are europeans paying higher price than every other region, again ? America, SEA,Taiwan and Korea are paying equivallent of(or even less than) 39$... We have to pay 44 dollars, for some reason. For now it's a pass for me. cmon man 1 google search and i get this. http://us.battle.net/overwatch/en/blog/19932055/ Q. What are the system requirements for the Closed Beta? A. See below! Biggest problem is the giant head hitbox (whole cockpit) and that you in general are pretty hard to miss. But the suit is almost pure armor. So someone with a low projectile damage can't really fight you. Like Tracer for example. You can also rush a Widow or a Genji, as long as you don't give them opportunity to hit you before you get in close range. Should avoid Hanzo though, you can take him if he wasted his scatter, but if you shoot at him you give him free headshots. Usually you have to finish him in Pilot form. Thats why the scatter has to be down. Turrets are also a joke unless its an ult buffed turret. Avoid losing your mech near a Reinhardt though, he can kill your Pilot form before you can do something, if he knows what he is doing. Its not only the tick rate/netcode etc, that makes for these weird situations. Hitboxes of most projectiles seems to be rather large which adds to that whole bad netcode feel, even if its there to compensate for the bad netcode. Still think its optimized for console play right now and people with horrible internet like me. Still feels bad to take a headshot arrow to the knee.

So there are some small netcode issues but its pretty rare and more related to ping than anything else.

I feel it sometimes, especially on slower moving projectile heroes like pharah, I feel it less on 76 and mid range hitscan. Considering my ping on NA gets as high as 80 depending on the server 120ish isnt TOO bad for some heroes, really hard to play with others. The lag compensation is pretty good but the delay is still there. Don't play seriously cross server, and sniping is terrible cross server as well. But if you want to pub games with friends its totally acceptable from NA to EU. Might depend on where you are in EU but test it yourself some people dont complain much others complain a lot. Obviously the best connection is to EU in EU and NA in NA though.

Again the server side tick rate is fine, client side arguably might be a little low so that creates the APPEARANCE that you are behind a wall but if you died its because you actually werent behind the wall. Going from 64 to 128 server side will do next to nothing. 20 tick is max on consoles client side due to the processing power required iirc. Hopefully pc goes up to 64 tick client side but in the end so long as servers are 64 tick and your ping is good it will almost never be an issue. https://www.reddit.com/r/Overwatch/comments/49jabt/overwatch_servers_are_60_tick/ this is one thread of a packet analysis done on reddit

And this information is nowhere to be found on the actual game information page or the shop page. Cool ! Do we really know if this is at all still relevant ? I mean, the game was still in development back then. From 1 google search I can get at least 10 sites that can give a rough estimate, but no official information at all.

I'm not competitive and I'm a "PC guy" and i'm happy with the game on PC. have you seen Blizzard address this issue directly? i have not. Somehow I feel like Soldier 76 could be abused like this in comp scene (I dont watch comp scene so I wouldnt know), and blizzard will give him a nerf. I really hope this wont be the case. Soldier 76 on his own is so well balanced, I almost never hear anyone complain about him like they do about Bastion or Mei.

Atleast thats how he is used in Comp matches. Otherwise people go for more specialized heroes. Or well Genji since he can still kill 6 people on his own. (with Orb and Shield buff) Well helps him that Zaria isn't played to ruin the first kill so he gets no resets. I think if you have okay FPS experience Soldier is really easy to get into. So you can steamroll everyone in the beginning rather easily. As it takes some time for people to grasp the conters to a hero.

http://us.battle.net/overwatch/en/blog/20063489/ what Overwatch is screaming out for is a single player campaign not graphic novels and motion comics.
