4 hours if you know exactly what you're doing and you're godly fast.
12 if you don't but kinda push yourself a little
48 if you have huge periods of downtime, queues, server having 300-20'000 ping 80% of the time and the original 8 hours for first 2 levels because of phasing issues, a few quests that are very hard for multiple people to do being done by 1000 people at once (literally)
(:
You shouldn't have most of these issues now. Stuff seems to KIND OF work and they fixed some of the huge problems, 95% of the players have passed through so you can get the very basic stuff like garrison and then level however you want.
My leveling experience was very good, the zones are nice, there are too many rewarding quests plus bonus objectives, rares and stuff to find everywhere, several mechanics to get rare or epic loot at random for stuff like quest hand-ins so, lag aside, it was probably better than my TBC, WOTLK or Cata launch experience. One of my only complaints is lack of reward for doing dungeons, you kinda have to queue random and then it takes like 2+ hours to level (~11 dungeon runs for 1 level, though the initial dungeons are very easy) which is unacceptable next to the exp and general development from questing. I miss the higher exp rates and ESPECIALLY the dungeon quests from previous expansions, particularly TBC and WOTLK. The Garrison gives some dungeon quests, but you have to buy the Inn and they are very "meh" quests that don't give rewards really worth mentioning or even more EXP than regular quests.
Now that the dust has settled (no queue at 8am) i'm pretty impressed. Avoid peak times if your server has a population though, even with higher capacities, yesterday i saw reports of a 15 hour queue and i've personally seen 5-6 hour on three occasions myself on off-peak-ish night hours (starting from ~9:00-11:30pm)

PSA: If your class has multiple potential roles, you can easily purchase a second ring for the legendary questline (epic i640) for ~450g and the game will AFAIK treat it as if you have both of your rings at i640 for the purposes of queuing etc (you can't equip because while they're not unique equipped, there is a check to prevent multiple items of the same type equipped at once)

Currently sitting at 97 going into spires. I have 100% completion on the story so far so we'll go from there. More than likely going to hit 100 before even setting foot in Nagrand.

Ahahaha
Anyway I'm taking my time and actually indulging myself in the zones, which is not something I've ever done in an MMO before. Almost level 97 and just started in Spires. Thoroughly enjoying it.

I didn't enjoy the first zone too much, because it felt like an interactive film.
But I'm in love with the first 25% or so of the second zone, really enjoyed the questing so far.

It's ilvl 660 gear that is disabled purchasable with 50g/piece from an ogre near the Highmaul meeting stone. The catch is that it is disabled outside Wargames, but if you equip and remove the items a bunch of times it eventually bugs out and registers their ilvl. Swap to normal gear afterwards and enjoy heroics!

My subscription is running out tomorrow, and I won't renew it. Yesterday I had great experience, cause they lowered the server cap quite a bit, so that I could play lagfree. Then today, I can barely gank people, cause the game lags and stutter all the time.
Probably coming back in March next year due to vacation etc. Atleast then I can know which classes are nerfed to oblivion, and who still functions great in the new meta.

Are world bosses in yet? I know that seals aren't, so probably not?

The few parts where I have been able to play it, I am really enjoying this expansion. Much moreso than MoP

Talador was the best for me so far, the quests around Shattrath and the + Show Spoiler +big finale with Blackhand and Yrel on the boat was pretty cool. I liked the story pacing in that zone, looking forward to Nagrand when I hit 98.

The Arakkoa region was actually very cool, I really enjoyed it.

Anyone that's been 100 for a bit already (or played beta) have generic suggestions with regards to medium and large plots in the garrison? Which are solid for basically anybody / which are probably the most useless / which should you prioritize upgrading and which should you not / etc?
Saw someone mention on the other page that lumber mill upgrades are not necessarily useful at the moment because you can maintain the work orders daily (i.e. there's no need for 14 when you can only do 6 every 24 hours, assuming you're focusing on one character for the time being). Things like that. I really can't decide on my second large building, and I was leaning toward the Inn for my second medium plot but I'm really not sure.

I think a lot of buildings have merit to them depending on what you are looking for. Obviously an Inn gives you more options for followers to fill in what you are missing for skills (Like I have one guy who can deal with massive blows out of 21 people -.-).
I like the lumber mill because it gives steady garrison resources and at level 3 gives 30 per work order instead of 20.
I will probably aim for the bunker or salvage yard once i get more space because they allow for bettering your followers or giving more resources to upgrade faster.
I have some extra books for blue prints im saving until I make my final decision though to save on having to buy blueprints.

Depends what you do in the game. Check http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/1599068 for very detailed guide for garrisons

What I said was that lvl 2 Lumber Mill isn't worth it pre-lvl 3 Garrison. Lvl 3 lumber mill gives you more + an additional follower (who functions as a 50% increase in productivity).

I was mostly looking at the Inn for the quests/toys, less so the follower thing, but now that I see the list I feel like it's not enough. And that trading post looks pretty important. And for large plots I liked stables for more mounts, but are those character-specific or account-bound? And that one free roll from lvl3 bunker looks REALLY helpful based on what it takes to get the tokens each week this time around.
It's mostly just a case of indecision. Typical for me. If I had four 100s already I'd have no problem splitting it all up and planning it out. But I have no idea what I want to do yet heh; level more toons, focus on one, farm gold, etc...? New content always so overwhelming!
