Reading this thread you would think every server first guild runs 20 Mages for DPS or something. Even specs at the bottom of the meters are passable for progression raiding, so I know damn well all the casual raiders in this thread whining about numbers are out of their minds. You can do normal raiding with a bunch of tanks and healers wearing DPS gear if you had to. If you think your spec isn't viable for raiding because it does 10% less DPS than the top spec... The problem is that you and/or your group sucks. Complain about mechanics all you want because that's valid but numbers are the one aspect of raiding blizzard has gotten right in recent years. | ||

Cannot wait to get absolutely rekt on dps on my fire mage now haha. Rip my crit thanks to no re forge and for example BBOY trinket which i reforge to crit is now probably not even bis trinket for me anymore  Going be great fun though, actually be like a new raid haha. Can't wait to try my disco and warrior on it too though thats my main thing im hitting up as mains so be good to get some live numbers. HYPE!! Oh i suggest if you haven't is to cap for example justice points and valor if you haven't already and you will get 42 silver per point in Justice or something. Free 840gold for like 1 hours work. Couple of toons and you sorted. Not sure of Valor conversion rate though. | ||

Exactly because it doesn't really matter to a raid if you actually bring something to the table or not, people are happy to get a full raid nowadays. Does it change anything of what i said? Maybe you're fine with going to a party and not bringing a bottle of wine/champagne/crate of beer, i am not. I like to bring something to the party, anything really. Which eleshamans don't at the moment. And pretty much all the shamans on the beta-realm say the same, it's not me bashing the class (wouldn't get anything out of it, i'm not playing ele). edit: but fair enough, they're at least playable. In that regard, there's worse classes/specs out there, by quite a margin. | ||

Speaking of keybinds, not looking forward to having to reassign stuff although it'll be nice not to spasm my hand just because I want everything bound. | ||

Which part of "wouldn't get anything out of it, i'm not playing ele" was misinterpretable? Also, it's 10 years. edit: apart from that, there's a point where optimism has to be dropped for realism, ask warriors about that. Not to mention that your posting actually has nothing to do with what i said. Impressive. | ||

Also a reminder to those who have yet to get a drop from Garrosh. The Heirlooms in patch 6.0.2 become a guaranteed drop fro those who have yet to have one. I have the staff on all levels. Flex - Normal - Hc. So i will now push for the tank items on my warrior from normal as it is not good enough for heroic But it will be a 100% drop on your first Garrosh kill if your character has not gotten one yet. So don't waste it on LFR even Flex, try chase a normal one  | ||

Maining my shadow priest or my ele shaman next expansion (likely priest) although I've always leveled my Priest/Pally/Shaman as my turrible trio so I'm looking forward to WoD. Decided to finally take up one of the Mythic offers people have been handing me like candy so I should be able to not hate my team at the start of the expansion like the last two expansions have been. | ||
