Everything is about items and experience. Tech paths and units matter, but ultimately if you stay ahead in levels and get better items than your opponent, you have a much better shot at winning. Stealing xp or items is super strong, as is forcing your opponent into creeping less optimal camps.

Items like Wand of the Wind or Book of the Dead create extremely powerful power spikes. Likewise, if you get lucky and pick up like 3 claws for your Lich, you gain a huge damage spike. Use these item spikes to put pressure on your opponent, kill workers, or destroy their tech. Similarly, if you know you'll get a big level spike like Archmage lvl 3 before your opponent, you can plan an attack or just harass while creeping up your second hero. It all leads back to hero levels and items.

A friend of mine installed the recommended warcraft drivers for AMD and after 2 minutes in the game, his Video card started to smoke... decent job Blizzard, never thought of this as business plan:
- Back in time new games meant new demand for higher-end PC parts, now this is reshaped by Blizzard - just burning through the hardware in order for us to buy new parts :D

This is one of the biggest nostalgia driven cashgrabs I have ever seen..

the game actually feels and looks way worse than the original, which you cant even play now by the way.. even if you have the old cd version of the game, if you want to play multi, you will have to download the 28gb "reforged" patch . . .

there are so many things wrong with this game.. Even the "Reforged Classic" version looks way worse than the original..

How the heck could they fucked this up SO BADLY.. I'm a big cynic when it comes to things like this from the big game companies but even I'm Baffled, just baffled.

Glad I didn't buy it (yet), I knew it would likely not be satisfactory after SC:Remastered and other previous Blizzard stuff. From what I hear, many people also think the new looks in MP are worse to play with.

I mean, I can understand people saying the price is not right given the work that went into it, I'm myself not sure I should grab it or not. I probably will at some point because I just want to replay the campaign and don't care about the multi.
But really? Game looked better in the original? That's either a troll or some serious rose-tinted glasses!

The real problem is, they promised the world and implemented absolutely fucking nothing. And in adition to that the game is riddled with bugs, crashes and other problems

I'm very confused, why would they not put in the 2018 version

Also I own the original games and have them registered on my Bnet for ages. Why can't I install the client via the bnet launcher now that they merged that game with reforged?

Also2, how the fuck do they release this without a ladder?

I feel like the fans/customers paid to shut down wc3.

reforged is utterly bad. I don't like the "better graphics" at all. I played a few campaign mission with better graphics and I wanted to continue with original graphics. this doesnt work at all.

Best scenario for me ist to play with original graphics but with HD cutscenes. You don't have that.
