its a combination, more combos = more hp recovered more levels in your team = more overall rcv (more base hp recovered from matching 3 heart orbs) also if you have more levels your team will also have more HP which gives you some tanking power. its recommended that you cruise through the normal dungeons because they are pretty easy, give good rank exp per run and drop "fodder" (essentially experience food for your main cards).
if you want to add me I have a couple of very strong leaders I can put up something you might need. my ID is in the post above yours.

Your team has a recovery stat. Matching three hearts will recover that amount. The number is also boosted by combos (25% per combo).
I'd assume the friend leader you used either had a lot of recovery or an autoheal awoken.
|
I did go through quite a few normal dungeons, but I wanted to run some of the special ones for that sweet loot @_@ I got half a million coins from one of them, so I figured I'd tackle whichever ones I could. Now, it's back to the normal dungeons for me!
Ah, so that's what RCV means. My leader against the Int level was Arcline who has 248, while my leader against the Expert was Zeromus, who has 0. That makes a lot of sense now, haha. Damn, another thing I have to balance and tinker with on my teams ;-;
EDIT: Sent you a friend request John, my name on D&P is DiLight.

cool added one more thing, what are some of the main cards you have? leader wise that is if your not sure you can screen shot your box and we can give you some kind of direction with what you have. also if you havent heard this refrain from rolling out of godfest (a biweekly event where select pantheon in rare egg machine monsters have a boosted rate to drop).
|
Lots of new players \o/
Was skimming thread for their IDs but didn't see any, so if the new players wanna add me, feel free to do so: 331,319,390
Usually rotating between hyper verd, shiva, and bastet as my leads

I have:
Zerodas lvl 36 Arcline lvl 37 +1 Cloud of Darkness lvl 8 Water Wizard, Sharon lvl 13 +1
What do you mean rolling out? You mean I should save my eggs for this biweekly event?

Hello, thank you, added!
EDIT: By the way, I have the three of those Dragon Flowers but no immediate use for them; I should hold onto them, right?

He means, don't spend your magic stones on the rare egg machine unless it's a godfest.
A godfest typically features 4 sets of gods, 2 on the first day, 2 on the second day, giving them x3 rates. There are also godfest-only cards that are a generally very strong cards to own. The Galas are not worth rolling because there's always one active, whereas we typically only get a 2 day godfest once every 2 weeks.
edit: As for evo mats, keep maybe 1 or 2 for now, since they can be used for evo recipes, but buying enough boxspace to keep up with storing evo mats early on is quite a big struggle, especially since you want to throw rocks at the godfests to get you cards that can turn your game around.

under the egg machine tab, theres a "rare egg machine" which costs 5 stones to roll and has as chance to give you very good monsters. the rates are increased during godfests which generally happen every 2 weeks. you should save your stone for those, rolling outside of godfest is generally very wasteful. any other usage for stones in the early ranks are strictly increasing your box space.
none of the stuff you listed are very good leaders but they shouldnt have much trouble cruising through easier content in the normal dungeons. generally what people tend to do is reroll the tutorial egg pull until they get a good leader.

Thanks for the help! So far they are carrying me through, I figured I would be able to roll a good leader later on. My combo ability has improved a ton. I realized that it is not like Tetris Attack, which is my favorite game of all time, well technically one of its clones but you get the idea. Hopefully I'll get a good one soon! I saw tier lists online, but is there any general way to know what to look out for? I saw some leaders have the "God" class when viewing friend assistants, I'm guessing that's good?
Also, I gave my mobilegame dealer friend, Gunzaa, your number hope you don't mind

"god" is just a typing at this point, some leader skills have conditionals ie. god type cards boosted by 3.5x atk stuff like that. I guess ill have to make some more friend space, and yes you can always roll more later so its fine to keep what you have, just save your stones for godfest!

The "God" is merely what type the card is. Some leaders or active skills affect only certain types rather than color. There is a joke that the game should be called Puzzles and Devils because Devil teams are easy, especially when you're starting out.
You can get some idea about how strong the card is by how many stars it has, but even that isn't a reliable metric. You can also look out for "Awoken" in the name of the card. Most of the top tier leader are awoken versions: Awoken Bastet, Awoken Yomi, Awoken Sakuya, etc etc

You should focus solely on box space at the start I think. Devoting your first 25 or 50 stones to box space is easy since you aren't going to roll until godfest anyway. 50 stones might be overkill if it is godfest next weekend, but you're going to want box space eventually. If you buy it now you can hoard evo materials so you don't have to waste stamina collecting them again.

for the absolute quickest start buy a starter acc with 300 stones for like 5bucks. but it is jp and might feel really antifun

I've just been fusing with everything I get besides evo materials, but I am at max now so I have to sell a dragon flower ): Guess it's time to splurge...

well here's my id once again: 390,248,378
I keep U&Y slot 1 always and i rotate through a slew of slot 2 leads: A.Ra, A.Bastet, Lu Bu, L.Meta, A. Lakshimi, etc....

i kinda disagree with solely box space, that applies more if you went through the annoying process of rerolling for a good leader but with the stuff you listed (which are not very good) you should commit just enough to box space and save the rest for the next godfest. you really wont get far with what you have atm. as for evo mats, everyone has a different way of managing them. some ppl iap hard and just get massive box space and hoard everything. this is obviously the best way but it takes money. for non iap players like myself for easily farmable low rarity evo materials (dragon flowers, lits, low star masks etc..) i usually dont even keep them unless I specifically need them for an evo or skill up monster.

at low ranks most of the evo mats you get (except the lits and the 2nd tier of dragon plants) are just useless. particularly the low level masks and dragon seeds.
basically you'll never be bottlenecked by them in the future so there is no point in keeping them.
godfest is always worth it for an account like that just to get stuff with decent stats.
|
The box space only idea was more relevant when 5 stones had a high chance of giving you a golem or toy dragon.
The rem results have vastly improved over time, and it's definintely worth saving rocks for godfests early on. That's not to say boxspace isn't worthwhile to spend on, but there's much more to consider nowadays imo.
Especially since this guy only has arcline and sharon, throwing rocks at a godfest will be very worthwhile imo.
|
With those leads he needs to save primarily for godfest. Once he gets a solid starting lead he can branch out but he needs a solid lead. Do recommend like 50 box space early on though.
I'm idle in a dungeon atm but I'll post my ID a bit later. I've got hyper... Everything... Not really but if it's a primary lead I probably have it hyper maxed at this point.
