Thank you, gave me confidence to take my time and beat lv2. First few times I tried, single monster can hit for like ~40% of my HP which had made me feel really intimidated to try again (thought boss would have stronger ATK). Got my first Tamadra, though it'll be while before I use one as I have desperate Keeper of Forest shortage
I'm pretty sure I am playing mono-green wrong though. On normal dungeons, I always lack green to attack with leading to several wasted turns. Is there some basic tactic, or something I will have to suffer as non-IAP player due to lack of reliable orb changers?

There are some farmable green orb changers, but they're hard to obtain if you're just starting out. Highlander is towards the end of the normal dungeon set. Mystic Stone Knight is in a similar situation unless the survey dungeon opens back up for him, but I wouldn't count on it.
Osiris gives 3.5x as long as you match 6 combos so you don't need to run mono color, especially if you don't have the orb changers. I'm not sure you have much better alternatives just starting out though.

On Tuesday you can easily obtain a Keeper using a zombie team. Just be careful about the team cost after you evo.

Thanks for the detailed response! Guess I can bench the Mandrake and put in random Rainbow Keeper, and level up Fat Chocobo because it will be my sole healer & orb refersher xD
The zombie thing is a hilarious tactic.
@ jinyung2: Done! Your... maxed? ultra? Osiris was very intimidating

Struck massive massive slump which knocked me down to 3 dan and more (in points) which was massively discouraging because I knew it would take significant time commitment to catch back up to 4 dan. Although I follow the mantra that my mistakes are major contributor to all the lost games, it's regardless soul-crushing when RNG factors contribute even a slightest bit to me being in 4th place.
I should probably play few games regardless, to prevent account from getting erased.
Edit: Internet briefly disconnects the instant I join a game. Tenhou PLZ T_T. But I digress, wrong thread.

Ouch
Also I added You should save your rocks for upcoming pcgf And hopefully you can roll more good stuff!
Also on weekends, you can spam Tower of Giants at half stamina without running out of stamina until around rank 90 or something like that You might get bored but it's an option
edit: Also did anyone beat Scarlet? This dungeon is so brutal Hardest thing outside of Arena I've played so far Makes Z8 and Nordis look like a complete joke
I got to Scarlet but unfortunately died :<

I beat it with RoniBeel, but I don't feel like try again until AI&I / I have decent amount of + on nepdra.
AHaku should have a pretty easy time on it.
|
Oh I should try that I have A haku
|
The problem with level up dungeon is that + importance is amplified so much it's pointless without a hyper team, making switch team on demand near impossible
So far it's ronibeel / cat for me, and probably going to work on yomidra before double back on nepdra (unless I can pull a ryuune, though highly unlikely given my luck with with 6 star GFE, aka gronia and nothing else).

Yea hypermaxing is more imperative for the level dungeons because it's not affected by the levels. I don't use Ra on these because Kalis don't get much levels. Didn't want to use firecat because of 2x damage needed so I ended up using Awoken Yomi instead....worked out fine but that's because I have plus eggs all over. For new players these dungeons are an utter nightmare and is a big reason I recommend focusing all your plus eggs on two leaders and then one primary team first.

So, I downloaded the game last week and have been blasting through the content. Rolled an Osiris, ran with him until I could do the easiest ff collab then realised I could make a team of devils that drop from the collabs.
Anyway, my question is: as I keep going through the content, should I be worried about spending my resources leveling this devil team? Despite being very strong now, will the team become horribly underpowered at some point? It feels like their active skill (big nuke on a massive cd) isn't really that strong. Well, Zeromus's skill might be strong (4x the damage for an extra 5 turns of cd compared to the others), but there doesn't seem to be a realistic way of leveling it up.
Also, any big tips for people getting into the game?

Devil teams are relevant up until the really high end dungeons. Don't worry about it right now. You'll have plenty of opportunities to roll and level new teams.

Well, I got lucky rolling Raoh with just 5 stones but then the game went "hey too easy, now fuck you and get the piis out". I've been running the collab all week long, got 5 chibidra, 0 skillups. + Show Spoiler +See any ? That's drop x2 runs... ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/H9s2pkJ.jpg)

The devils from FF collab drop off really quickly, but no reason for you to not level them a bit and use now. exp in this game is really easy to get after a bit, so you don't need worry about invest those. tamadra will get plenty after a while as well. skill up (either grinding or from pii) and + are big investments you should have a plan for before undertaking.
pad reddit has some pretty comprehensive starter guides.

Hey guys, my friend who repeatedly has gotten me addicted to phone games showed me Puzzle and Dragons yesterday and I'm fairly hooked. I obviously know next to nothing about the game but I have a slight grasp on evolution/power fusion. I just beat the Final Fantasy Int. and it was pretty easy; I tried the Expert and it rocked me hardcore. I used heart combos almost every turn but I would only get back like ~200 HP while the boss was dishing out 900. In Intermediate the same strategy would yield ~800 HP gain and the boss only did 200.
Is this because my team is not evolved enough? Or is it because I am just not that good at comboing yet? I just don't understand how I'd ever be able to overcome that kind of difference between HP gained and lost on an every turn basis.
