Once I put Vishnu in my Bastet team I did not fail Zaerog at all. Fail rate went from 10 percent to zero. Making the 6 combos was easy... Not having green orbs drop when in some cases I'd hit a 12 combo was rage inducing though as there was literally no way to prevent death. Skill delay resist latents on Ra would make this a joke...
Also max skilled Halloween Kali after 26 angelits. Not too bad.
I can survive a 31 l Hera Preempt with my vanilla Firecat team because eof OP dark resist. The 38k from C10 just flat needs a shield. Or find some way to get my Firecat team to about 30500 hp.. (it's generally at 29790.)

I tried Hera once, fucked up on beroc, failing to kill her fast enough (messed up activation) so my diza shield ran out when i was on swelio (one shotted) so i ate the full pre-empt
also, i should get me a z8. I legit could make a scary z8 team of z8, a.haku, satsuki, diza, something (persephone? a.yomi?)?

you'd probably want ayomi as the lead instead of z8 with that team

Having played both, there are still pros to playing Z8 over Yomi
Pros:
Double haste leaders are really really strong You'll get skills back up in no time and with his ideal subs being haste subs, Diza shield is up all the time This lets tanking a breeze even without latent resists (looking at you Parvati and every dark absorb nonsense)
Z8 has better raw stats The 1.21x multiplier actually makes a nice difference More HP that gets even better with plus eggs (although Yomi has high hp too) Z8 recovery is also pretty good. Yomi on the other hand has a really hard time recovering
Z8 is much much easier to play Making 5 orb then 7 combos is not easy Even though you have a lot of time extends, this still proves to be difficult unless you have good skills
Z8 has better damage spike (potential) While Yomi has better average damage, Z8 can spike super hard if you need him to And with Z8 active up all the time, skillfalls can really rack up the damage Not saying Yomi has bad damage at all, but Z8 can really crunch up those numbers with ease
Cons:
Hugely dependent on orb changer Unfortunately you need dark orbs, and a lot of them to do any meaningful damage. Minimum atleast 9 to do damage 10~11 = good damage 12+ = OHKO (almost) every boss territory (this is looking like some riichi mahjong point guide lol) A Yomi only needs 5 to clear floors This is helped with the double haste+skyfall leads, but for long dungeons, such as Arena, it can really end your run with dark orb droughts
Less damage control X4 -> x16 -> x36 is a huge range Adding tpa to x4 or lack of tpa to x16 or something like that is usually the way to go Z8 damage control is not too bad, but Yomi's is way superior And skyfall can ruin it hard
Not as consistent as Yomi Not like any leader is free from orb trolls and bad rng, but as mentioned earlier Z8 needs 9+ orbs to do damage Yomi only needs 5 This is a huge difference and one that requires constant use of actives. Z8 haste system alleviates this pretty well, but not a whole lot can beat Yomi in consistent damage with minimal resources.
All things considered Z8 is still great lead It's still my go to for descend farming as honestly, for the skills required, the damage is way too good

2x should still be 20%. With horrid rates like I already got, I honestly doubt that the extra 5% would change much. so angry. Waited all this time for urd's skill up to come up and now i spent all my fruits and couldn't even get 3 friggin levels to finish my hyper.

Yea that 20% is just low enough that you can be utterly screwed so very easily.
That 5% changes it from 1 in 5 to 1 in 4. It actually does tend to make a substantial difference.

In my base it would be not 1 in 5 to 1 in 4 but it would be, from 1 in 27 to approx 1 in 22, which still sucks balls
