Hello everyone, newbie is back. I got stuck on the final boss in the Palace of Satan, which my friend said he heard is kind of a wall to the next level.
1. What should I do to overcome? I've been farming light evo materials for my light pixie bitch and to brolic up my knight of light or whatever his name is.
2. Is there some sort of resistance penalty for who you choose as leader? I know light is strong vs dark and vice versa, does that bitch and her pet dragons do more damage to me if I have the light knight as my leader?
Thanks team!

Getting stuck on Satan happens to almost everyone. You can zombie team through it if you want the easy road. That floor is actually significantly harder than than the dungeon after it and unlocks tier 5 which is what you'll want to be farming during the x3 plus egg event so getting past it is really important.
There is no resistance penalty.
Starting out is probably really hard now since you can't roll the PEM for random nice things anymore. Your box is really depressing. I had not considered that when I was suggesting pumping 50 eggs into box space at the start.

If not, what is my best team to tackle this or where do I get the components?

A zombie team is a leader that provide perseverance (ogre is the easiest farmable option). Then you get a friend leader with an autoheal leader skill (healer girl, Amaterasu, Odin(odin has a bunch of auto heal awokens, he doesn't have the leader skill like the others)). Perseverance prevents you from dying to a single attack as long as you're above 70% health. With the autoheal you'll be able to heal up past the threshold every turn assuming you only get attacked by one enemy.
For subs you typically use high attack low hitpoint monsters to maintain the threshold, but this might not require any additional effort depending on what friend you're using. If you have an Amaterasu friend you'll heal many times your life bar no matter what you do at this point for instance, but it could be a problem if you're using a low level healer girl.
JSH has his Amaterasu up. I'm not sure if you added him or not.
I just noticed that you're on Vampire Lord not Satan so a zombie team won't actually work if you can't kill the two dragons with him. With your Arcline I'm not sure it'll be a problem unless they're synced one turn which would be incredibly unlucky.

Thoughts on Izanagi?

can you explain what you mean by this? I have a worse team than he does.

well you definitely could use some ranks
farming the 3rd dungeon of tower of giants is always an option. your missing a good leader though. I think maybe if you lead with cloud of dark and pair with my ronia you can probably steam roll through some dungeons. then once you have some stones collected roll a couple times in upcoming godfest (should be this weekend)

izanagi can be used as a farming lead kinda, hes more relegated to sub use later on. he's getting a 2nd ultimate evo soon that's significantly better. he's a good card to have overall. early on though its definitely tough to do much with him because he boosts god types and most god types in the game have high costs.

The PAL Egg Machine got changed to alternate between Enhance (current) and rare evo materials recently. Before it used to have a bunch of good drops for when you're just starting out (ripper dragons, healer girls, some REM skill fodder that can be used as orb changers). Since you don't have access to these anymore I think starting out would be a lot harder and you're pretty much forced to pull the REM to fill up your box.
If you're just starting out it isn't something to worry about. Just some useless theorycraft that happened yesterday.

With Amaterasu you won't have to worry about the low hp sub thing. JSH's amatersau will heal you for almost 10k health every turn you match any 3 orbs. Just use whatever works with the leader skill or has the highest attack in your box.

Assuming he can get to Tier 5 with friend leader it'll more efficient to farm rank there than tower of giants.

ya thats true. i guess the whole ToG is kinda old school now huh?
jealous if you want you can try out my ronia right now with your cloud of dark. itll be a 1.5xHP/5x ATK/2.5x RCV team and my ronia is hypermaxed so you just use her leader skill to make the whole board only red and dark and do big bursts
edit: dam my osiris is 99 hp 99 atk and 69 rcv
always missing them rcv eggs ~_~

Alright, I'm giving it a go right now with a blue ogre, the light knight of lightning light, my light pixie, fire goblin, blue girl, and Amaterasu. So far she's definitely not healing me 10k every turn, more like 1.35k...

If Amaterasu doesn't work out, I'll try it this way!
Will keep you guys posted on my progress. LR gogo...
EDIT: First 5 stages, haven't been hit yet, so everything is going same as last time...
EDIT 2: Stage 6, Ogre got a hit off on me, this Amaterasu babe is certainly NOT healing me just for making 3 orbs in a row. I'm getting scared, hold me.
EDIT 3: Got to stage 9 without incident. Still no free healing power-no-jutsu. AMATERASU PLS

I max leveled my party from recent dragon infestations and enhance REM event, so I'm kind of stuck unable to remove monsters via fusing. Feed the following to Osiris or the Chocobo:
- Super green king
- All red kings
- Maybe the blue king
Evolve a green pengdra (it uses a dragon plant). Feed it to someone.
Trash or fuse the following:
- Red carbuncle
- Red goblin
- Yellow knight
Stop rolling the PEM. You should save those rolls for when evo materials comes back to the PEM imo.
Your next goal is to look for those evo materials to evo Osiris. Look at Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday dungeon.

@Jealous: Are you sure you're using Amaterasu? Because that shit is a tried and true tactic. Take a screenshot.

+ Show Spoiler +![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/GACa3BJ.jpg) The last wave before queen bitch... Also, how the hell do those evo material monsters have so much damn HP? They certainly don't when I was using one as a dark sub in the beginning >_>

I think Amatersu is actually on his BFF slot so you can't use it Didn't think about that earlier. You're using Awoken Yomi in that screenshot.
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/fPTlawC.png)
is what you're looking for. I should also mention that the full name is Awoken Amaterasu Ohkami

I coulda sworn I saw it say "Amaterasu" >_>
EDIT: Two minions down... Now it's just me vs. her... and her 3000 pound megapunch... T-T;

Amaterasu is cuter
By the way, "Palace of Satan" is Castle of Satan? If so Awoken Yumi should still deal enough dmg with her Leader skill, though I guess you are disadvantage with the whole zombie composition.

You will be awarded a best friend at some rank; maybe 50 maybe 80 (google exact if you care). Their PAL points get upgraded to 100 per day, you can use three of their leaders instead of only two and you have access to them for 24 hours instead of the normal amount of time. JSH is one of my best friends so I can use three of his leaders.

We're both down to 50% HP... This Yumi chick isn't punching as hard as I thought she would but we're still getting through this. My knight is about to fire his laser a second time (first one almost took out a minion dragon). I guess what I made the mistake of doing the first time around was trying to kill the big boss first.
Time to combo some HP and get on top of this.
WOAH OH my god if my Naruto fanboyism got in the way and saw Tsukuyomi and thought "THAT'S CLOSE ENOUGH TO AMATERASU RITE" and picked her because of that... T_T;
