In SF4, you only have one char, so the combo punishes don't last as long, which means you don't go from full bar to dead with one bad decision. (Usually)

I think it did ok if you can call 2nd place ok. he wins because he's Justin. Honestly, I think anyone would've said his team wasn't getting mileage because on paper it was a bad matchup against everyone he played except Angelic.

In terms of their complexity they are about equal SF4 forcing more of frame advantage and option selects, while marvel is focusing strong on very difficult mix ups and converting touches into extended combos. SF4 has been getting more complex this year people focusing on character specific match ups. MvC is still on just learning what characters like to do rather then specific match ups.

Daigo is Daigo. I can't say anything. His autobiography has some really interesting stories about the friends he made and such in the arcade.... Really gives you an insight into how he thinks and approaches life. K, back to focusing on matches 100%. Fuck my lost sleep

I dont think diago can win it this match consistently There was a discussion around that. Daigo said that, at the time when he made the decision to switch away from Akuma and back to Ryu, he looked at what the top ppl plays, and decided that while Akuma was a stronger character, he would most likely run into characters who could blow up Akuma, played by good players, deep in tournaments (Kaz, for example, was playing Seth). Plus, since Infil was dominating the game everyone had anti-Gouki tech, so for him Ryu would be a better tournament pick.
