It's not that bad imo. I'm Exile, can't speak for Dommies. I do my dailies everyday, I also do rock climber and waterlogged challenges in Crimson because they are short and I pass through them doing the quests. This gives me 1 plat from just quest rewards when EP capped, or otherwise 30% of weekly EP. In addition to quest money you also get several items which you can salvage. I get most of my augmenteds from dailies. Sometimes you get rare pieces like a shadow blast fragment and you earn additional money (I sell them for 90g/piece on Archon). Last week I got both a berserker and defender aegis dropped, sold them for 12 plat total. As a technologist, it's also a nice opportunity to gather kinetics and bloodbriar. I make my own boosts, put any excess on the AH for extortionate prices (AH is always empty of bloodbriar on archon). My guildies buy them, bring it back to me to make them boosts, I charge them for making the boosts as well. It's good business  After this patch I'll also get the chance to receive AMP/ability drops for even more money. And if you've 'optimized' your run it only takes 1 hour. I like my dailies | ||

You're an idiot for useing strikehtough runes when you're above 6% yes. Assult power is everything and matters more then getting set bonus's right now. So what do you want me to do with my half dozen logics? Downrank weapon specialist twice in order to rune crit hit rating instead of strikethrough? I don't have the luxury of getting ~25-30+ runes and having them all be runeable with assault power right now | ||

It really comes down to how quick this patch is coming to give you a decent answer as to whether it's worth it or not. If the patch is with Drop 4, go ahead and rune. If it's in this week's bug fix patch, don't. I think it's more likely to be the former tbh, so go for it. | ||

25 runes later, 12/12 weapon specialist, 4/12 assassin - gained a few moxie runes, as well as ~180ap and ~0.8% strikethrough my DPS went up maybe 10%. I went from ~5k to ~5.6k on dummy (pretty quick tests) but i'd also added a new amp ability Edit: Yea, i gained 600 maybe 700dps, but 226 of that was from spending AMP points that i hadn't spent There's probably significant variance in runs too even with 1 mill damage done (5 mill better maybe) because my Impact proc gave me ~120dps on one and ~150dps on another Not sure how the rune sets interact with dummy, assassin obviously doesn't proc (only on targets below 30% health) but i'm not sure how armor etc works on dummy with expose and weapon specialist not much to compare it too, but i'm pretty happy with 5.6k for 1m - still some pebkac issues and i might be able to approach 6k without significant gear changes | ||

the dummys lie to you a lot. You'll get a better read by actualy dungeon or something. I should explain why assult power is king and nothing else matters. See in a raid there are a shitton of things that increase the raid wide dps, however a lot of these things are never up constantly and the way that crit builds interact with such variance is less reliable for dps in a raid compared to a flat assult power increase which will always be there to increase your dps and will interact with said raid dps boosts. This logic has been backed up by a lot of different dps logs from raids and just is the way that the community rolls. That being said you'r raid dps is most reliant on your uptime. the split seconds it takes you to get back on the boss add up super fast. Theres a girl in my guild (or he sounds feminie) that out dpsing warriors with 300-400 more ap then her. | ||

Most of the case it's something like: 1; Take a logic slot at 2x the cost 2; Take another fire/fusion at 20x the cost 3; go home or worse, for farmed stuff - i have two pirates banes, neither of them have any fire or fusion slots. It will all change when rerolls happen~ Right now i have 25 slots, about 10, maybe half of them are not fire/fusion. With rerolls and new stuff being able to socket AP, that percentage will vastly increase.. while i'l also have over 1.5x as many runes, assuming the rune upgrade items are reasonably obtainable. | ||

I don't even have a pirates bane. I use a tempest something something that has equal brut to the assult power loss and has 2 fire slots. | ||
