Maybe it's a little too hectic, and some of the animations/attack diagrams are convoluted as hell, but it's all fun. I prefer having to pay attention than just auto-attacking my way to victory. Granted, I played some NWO too, and it wasn't bad but it wasn't as interesting to me. Not rightly sure why... | ||

Sadly it seems like attaching a weekend beta key to your ncsoft account removes the option of applying for a full beta key on that account (it thinks you are already in the beta or something T.T) Are they even giving out full beta keys anymore? | ||

NDA Lifted, pre-orders incoming, release date set. If you're in beta pls share your experiences I'm quite interested in this game. I like the dominion concept but I've heard the starting area for dominion sucks compared to the exile one. | ||

There are some major balance issues still, but I've enjoyed my time. You'll have to ask some specific questions for answers though. Dominion is a strange mix. They are supposed to be heavily devout, but really... it's just propaganda and civil control. They are definitely the 'darker' of the two, but that's not exactly horrible. Really, you feel like a peon in the Dominion... which is fine, because you are! I haven't gotten to far in their zones though so I can't comment heavily on questlines. | ||

Though they will occasionally draw pat/random mob agro, they are just entities that do some passive, largely ignorable damage, and activate the skill that they are attached too. Bruiser bot can taunt and interrupt, Gun bot shoots, and the others do their thing. Targeting is largely, point yourself at the enemy and hit it and they activate immediately to jump towards the enemy or whatnot, but they are not 'Pets' in the traditional MMO sense. They die readily and they aren't really worth targeting or removing as the engineer can simply rebuild them. They also don't do enough passive damage to really worry about so just consider them as any other skill you'd use, but with an entity attached. Previously they were actually suffering from lack of damage relative to some other classes, but they recently had a slew of changes, and balance may be much better, haven't tried them recently. | ||
