I grant, throwing a bag of flour 25 feet in the air might be tricky, but AFAIK Neal stated earlier in the game (around the time they were fighting hellhounds on the road maybe?) that levitation only grants upward/downward movement. If so, at least the party would have a rough idea of where the 'column' that he could be in would be. For another use... ...It's a quiet, calm evening with our heroes resting by the roadside when bam --- ambush. Baddies are approaching you from the other side of the campfire... in the face. A bag of flour, a 10 foot pole, a couple ropes and a hammer+pitons and there's nothing you can't do ![]() That reminds me of a guy i played with in a few oneshots. He is a chemist in real life, and no matter the setting, no matter the situation, he always tries to find a way to build bombs by acquiring lots of random chemicals.

They need to sit down and talk about how they want to treat meta-gaming. When Geoff says something to JP about re-rolling and JP refusing to do it, because it would be meta-gaming. JP takes a very strong stance on it, which is fine. On the other hand you have Gen reading the chat and using that to make/change certain decisions, this is a very loose stance on it. They need to come up with some ground rules for things like this, or it just creates problems.

Neal saw no issues with it so they should just drop it. He'll tell them when they are doing something they shouldn't as players. He has done so before. The only issue here is being too worried about meta-gaming. It creates this silly situation where they try to avoid meta-gaming so much that they are actually not playing their characters and are just reverse meta-gaming.
