There's also one that slows time. They seem to be for pure melee and gun builds

But when you start prying underneath, or replay the game a second time, you start to recognise that it's actually a lot more linear than it appears. The biggest variety is whether you approach quests with stealth or hacking or with gunplay and with which guns. Beyond that the vast majority of quests have the same beginning and the same end. The only significant exception I've found so far is + Show Spoiler +
when you get the bot from the Maelstroms
where the quest genuinely has vastly different outcomes depending on how you approach it.
The main story is great so far, and I'm definitely getting my money's worth; it just doesn't live up to the RPG that many hoped for and CDPR promised.
I agree. It has a lot less variety in it's branching options than witcher 3. I wonder if a part of the reason for that is the half life-y narrative perspective that keeps you in first person and eschews cutscenes. Kind of sad I'm not seeing any pre-rendered scenes, they were so good in witcher 3.
Oh didn't realise it was that or hacking, interesting.
Lmao just read about Skippy, that's great. Guess you should make sure to start with the limb targeting option first though so when it permanently switches it will headshot everyone.

What? it switches??? It better not switch to limb targeting after iv dumped points in headshot damage

Nice lol, I also picked headshots immediately, but I kinda don't care because it's a smart weapon and I almost exclusively use tech and if I can't help it, power.
I'm right at the end of the game (Point of No Return) and I walked back. There's way too much to do to end the game just yet. For anyone who has beat the game. If you do, is it NG+ or does it just go back into the game you were playing? You can PM me if you don't want to spoil it for others.

There is no NG+... final mission ---> epilogue ---> credits roll ---> back to Main Menu. If you still wanna have fun do it before you enter The Point of No Return.

Shit man. So much more I wanna explore but I want to see the ending so badly!

You can get 2 different models of the Caliburn, 1 jet black and 1 White/Gold with red finishes, but they're pretty much the exact same car control-wise. Actually scratch that, the black one has better control and maybe 10 more KM/H at the very end. In a straight line, it's SUPER smooth going from 0 to 200 in record times. Pretty prone to spiraling out of control and just doing doughnuts on the road if you swerve too quickly at top speeds to overtake another vehicle or try to make a sharp turn. But there is a way to rear it in. Basically it has excellent acceleration AND deceleration, so before the bends and turns you gotta press S to brake and slow down, make the turn and then accelerate again, back to 200. You can do city races in this car just fine with a bit of control and finesse but do NOT try the races outside town/ in the desert. 1 little pebble will send you off to the moon in a constant front flip fashion.
White/Gold version is more prone to losing control even on soft bends, not to mention T-junctions or 180 turns.
Shion "Coyote" also has 2 version, 1 Blue, 1 Red. The Blue controls SUPERBLY. You won't be making tuns at 200 KM/H, but at 160KM/H? Yes! The recovery after swerving too hard is also top-notch, the ass-end doesn't fly to the sides like water in a barrel. Good traction for offroad races in the desert as well! After hitting a rock you can recover instead of letting Jesus take the wheel like in Caliburn's case. The Red version has slightly worse traction than the blue one, but still miles ahead of the other 95% of the cars you can get. Recovery is more difficult but still very doable. Takes T-junctions, intersections, 180-turns and bends just fine.
Shion MZ2 is slightly worse when compared to the Coyotes. It's much more of a city car than an all-terrain one, has got lower speeds, worse off-road capabilities, but in a city it takes T-bends, junctions and 180 turns very well. A bit prone to jiggling the ass on all of the turns, but recovery is very quick and possible.
Turns out you get the black Caliburn for free which is great because I can just buy the Coyote for the badlands.
I'm a bit of a completionist so I'd like to eventually buy all the cars and complete the 'car missions'. Getting the money together for that is gonna be a pain though. How do you guys make your money? Share your tricks

You buy soda cans at every vending machine you see and dissemble everything other then rare and up tops shotguns and sniper rifles.
Doing the blue missions is always good money though.

The economy is very out of whack so a lot of people are exploiting it 1 way or another. You can currently: 1) soda can farm - you go up to a vending machine and buy soda cans (but only soda cans! no other food!) then for some fucking odd reason you can disassemble the soda cans for white & green crafting mats, and sell them to a vendor for pretty much double or more of what you paid for the can itself... 2) painting exploit - there's a quick little mission where you find an expensive painting in a suitcase surrounded by hobos. Either tech ability to open it or look around a corner and you'll find a dead pleb with the keycard to open the suitcase. After that you go to a deposit machine (seller on the map) and exploit pressing Escape (menu) + R (sell) until you get a transparent window and can buyback an infinite number of these back, instead of the 1 you just sold. Then sell them back to the machine, keeping 1 and doing that whenever you need money again. 3) DO NOT pick the "auto disassemble junk items" perk in the tech tree. A lot of junk can sell well, only the real junk should be disassembled, and by yourself 4)use a trainer or console because fuck this game's base economy
There's no free roam? And here I was, hoping to be able to create a rockstar character, foregoing the main story entirely to pursue fame and fortune in the world of CP...
