Got the Art book, Model(s), open the Steelbook case and there are no CD's in it just empty CD holders. Check the box again nothing... It was under the plastic under the devs signatures on the left side.
That is some shit packaging lol. I would have reacted the same way man.
Mainly quest fixes and 'improved stability, including various crash fixes'. They modified the BD flashes to 'reduce the risk of inducing epileptic symptoms' - I'm not sure whether this will be enough but I'll look for it when I reach it.
The control controversy is that they're blocking software that can change controls that people with disabilities or just different preferences from changing things like f.
The only keybind that really annoys me is that reload and pick-up-and-equip are both R, so I'll randomly walk over a corpse while reloading my weapon and oops I'm suddenly using their weak ass pistol.
Well, from when they announced the project I thought that releasing it on PS4 and XBOX1 was ambitious to put it mildly. Obviously this was a business decision as I don't believe any dev would put themselves in a position to do it willingly. I wonder how much of the sales are accounted to these 2 platforms to justify it.

"You’re probably curious about the release date. It’s currently scheduled a way off, in 2015, but in truth, the delivery date is more like, “when it’s done.” We will release Cyberpunk to you when we’re convinced it is nothing but pure, refined, unadulterated awesome. we want it to be the most kick ass futuristic RPG ever—ok, maybe this sounds pretty bully, but it is our actual goal! You judge if we deliver it!"
and now its almost time. I wouldnt care if they delay again though. i expect the best game ever, everything else would be a disappointment :>
I agree completely, though I want to play it. I prefer the "when it's done" approach over "hey get that thing on the shelves tomorrow and we'll fix it later"
I recently watched the 'youre breathtaking' clip where Keanu announced the release date for April... I just wish that they planned their deadlines better. Even if they gave a date that was six months after that it still would have been delayed, but there wouldnt be a year long news cycle about it being delayed
i don't care how popular this game becomes.... "you're breathtaking" will always belong to Elaine Marie Bennis.
To me, Cyberpunk 2077 is a glorious mess. It's what happens when you go all in and realize that you're about to bet on your child's savings. It's utter madness. I've never seen a game so far above everything else when it comes to artistic vision. But they kind of forgot to make a game.
Remember: They started development BEFORE The Witcher 3 became a global phenomenon. Suddenly, they had money. And they decided to wing it. Now we see the result. I can't really put it in words...but this game makes me feel things. It resonates with me. But not as a game.
Has anyone ventured into the other districts? What level are you? I'm finding the Valentino's area particularly difficult so I'll probably head back to Watson and do some serious grinding to level up before I head over there. Everything is about 5+ levels above me and it's insane. City Center is a whole different breed of people walking about. You can definitely tell the proles from the bourgeois.
Edit: For those playing on PS4 or PS5, has anyone downloaded the patch? How large was it? PC was just around 600MB for me (GOG) and I'm reading PS is around 17GB. Confirm?
Still waiting to get a PS5 for this, I've seen too many negative reviews if you are not playing on a next gen system or an amazing computer set up lol.
Also got the PS5 controller to work so driving is much better than with the keyboard. Still getting used to the controller but I'm pretty sure I enjoy this a lot more Not so taxing on my wrists.
They're going to fix everything, but the gaming community has to stop buying into the hype. Remember TotalBiscuit? Don't preorder. Period. I bought the game on release day and I knew what I was getting into. My PC is good, so it's running fine.
It's a crying shame that a game like this is dragged down by shitty business decisions.
It's not the hype. It's the demanding nature that gamers have. They have that entitlement of "I paid $xxx for this. IT BETTER BE PERFECT!" and it just will never be the case. 1) It's a game. Something to waste away idle time. 2) IT'S A FUCKING GAME. 3) You don't have to purchase the game. Ever. At all.
I can understand when the hype is unreal and they feel let down. But being reasonable about this, the game, on PC, runs decently. The next gen versions that this game was designed for, runs decently. Sure, there are major issues to be fixed. And they will be. But I cannot understand why people harp, bitch and moan about something they didn't create. They have no skin in this besides 70$ or whatever. Either enjoy the game. Or don't. But if you choose not to. Don't bitch to those who are trying to.
Not directed at you virpi or anyone in this thread. I've been reading and talking to a lot of people about this game.

Its not about hype or bitch my friend , the state of the game is abysmal for certain platforms , I never played RDR2 or GTA latest games but they seemed infinitely more polished at launch , you can see that CDPR are still not at the T1 of gaming studios , as someone else stated , they went all in for all the platforms in launch day to maximize their earnings , and fell short in most platforms in regards to a polished game standard we expected from such a massive title and budget.
Its a good thing you are not the CEO of a gaming company (or any other company) if you have this mindset "But I cannot understand why people harp, bitch and moan about something they didn't create. They have no skin in this besides 70$ or whatever. Either enjoy the game. Or don't. But if you choose not to. Don't bitch to those who are trying to."
The game was designed to run on current consoles and was marketed towards said consoles , it started development almost a decade ago before Sony/Xbox even knew the specs AMD are going to give them , dont let CDPR off the hook so easily , they deserve every flak they get from the console community , they shouldve held back the console launch to a later date , they just knew it will cost them a ton of money so they just went for it anyway KNOWING FULL WELL it runs like shit.
I have no problem CDPR gets this big massive backlash , they took shots towards other developers for releasing buggy unfinished games and they tried and put themselves next to Rockstar as a "release when ready" kind of company , i hope they do better on their next massive release , and unlike you , they will probably learn from this and not put their head in the sand and say "the fans have no rights to bitch and moan" , because such mentality never works with anything consumer releated.

There shouldn't be any major issues to be fixed. When I buy any product, any service, for any price I expect there not to be any major issues to be fixed. Period. Food, clothes, transportation, utilities none of those should have major issues to be fixed. That extends to every gradient of luxury available, luxury food, entertainment, better forms of transportation. And consumer goods, like fridges, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, televisions, phones, internet service, tv service, landline service, I expect all those to operate without major issues to be fixed when paying for that good or service. Why make an exception for video games? I haven't created any of those, but if I pay for something I expect that there are no major issues to be fixed.
If to create was the signifier to be able to expect that there will be no major issues, then 99.9% of everything anybody buys will be below expectation. Perhaps 100% for most people as most people are but cogs in a machine of one product or service. Tell me, what have you created? Then compare that to what you have purchased with your money? Would any of those items come with major issues to be fixed?
I could just as easily turn the argument back toward you. Either enjoy the game. Or don't. But if you choose to. Don't bitch to those who highlight legitimate issues and reveal the utter decay of gaming journalism.
