Also I have a question about Egg moves. I am trying to get Aqua Jet on Azumarill, I know I can pass it down from Floatzel, once I get a Marill with Aqua jet can I use him to pass down Aqua jet to future Marills or do I have to keep using Floatzel? You'll be able to use Marill

If you get a Marill with Aqua Jet you can use it to pass it down. Just make sure it doesnt get overridden by accident when the Pokemon levels in the Day Care.
Btw, if you want to get certain natures, try getting a Synchronize pokemon, it increases the chance a wild pokemon is the same nature as the synchronizing pokemon to 50% if the synchronizing Pokemon leads. It also works if the synchronize Pokemon is knocked out, as long as its in the top left of your party (Ralts is great for that)

It took 40 minutes instead of 4 hours. X and Y make it a lot simpler to find Synchronizers too, with Ralts so readily available. I remember it was friggin' hell finding a Synchronize Abra in LeafGreen for the legendary bird trio. Good luck trying to find a rare Pokemon that flees on the first turn, with a 50% chance of having the correct ability, a 4% chance of having the right nature, and being unable to determine either of the latter until after you've caught it.
Was rough, man. Was pretty rough.

I am breeding for semi-competitive battling, gonna be doing battle mansion and the ranked pss battles. Also gonna try and do http://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonLeague3DS/ if they get enough active people, they didn't have that much for b/w. I like doing both singles and doubles too. Also thanks for the advice about the egg moves

So, I finally got my perfect Ralts (well, perfect enough) and I'm trying to figure out the move set for Gardevoir :/
Right now I'm leaning towards Substitute, Calm Mind, Psychic and Moonblast, but I'm not sure I need both psychic and moonblast STABs and if I should try to get more coverage in the move pool, what do you guys think?

Speaking of Synchronize, anyone have a Synchronizer with Mild or Hasty I can borrow? I'll catch my own eventually but I need one for Yveltal, and don't feel like doing the grinding before post-game. -_-

Breeding good Azumarills should actually be fairly easy, since all wild Azurills are guaranteed three perfect IVs like all other Pokemon that can't breed (babies, legendaries, Nidorina, Nidoqueen). Just grab an Adamant Synchronizer and go Azurill hunting on Route 22.

Quick question. Does the Trace ability come up at the start of the fight? So if I find a Ralts I'll be able to easily determine if it has Synchronize or not just by starting the battle?
If that's the case, that's super nice. Might have to go back and find one so I get a good natured whatever-the-fuck is the legendary of X.

Awesome! Thought it did but didn't want to make any assumptions. Saves a little bit of time at least!
I'll probably be doing power breeding just to do it, lol. Not satisfied with a perfect attack Samurott anymore! I need a full perfect team!

Mentioned this before, but I'm interested in trying it just because the whole idea of giving out awesome Pokemon on Wonder Trade makes me super happy.

Wow, the game won't let me name my Charizard after Renekton. Game freak pls.
Anyone have an idea of why it won't let me?

They have Nintendos shitty filter, its not just an english filter, its every languages filter combined into one so part of Renekton must be some sort of bad word in another language. It sucks.

A Pokemon with the Synchronize ability.
Examples are the Ralts line, Abra line, Espeon.

It's main use is that if the Synchronizer is at the lead of your party, there is a 50% chance that wild pokemon will have the same nature as that of the Synchronizer.

Dropping Psychic for Focus Blast might be fun, since I don't think many Poison types are too keen on switching into Gardevoir and you gain a lot more effectiveness out of it. People used to drop STAB for Ghost/Fighting since that hit every pokemon in DP for at least neutral damage, but not sure how the typing chart changed since then. Fairy/Fighting seems fun.
Depending on the rest of your team, I might consider dropping substitute for another attack (or utility) move. You can keep Psychic in that case. Will O Wisp is a good option if you expect physical attackers to swap into Gardevoir.
