Ty for info. In other news, proJared, a youtuber who used to be apart of normalboots, is doing a nuzlocke run of pokemon Y. He's going in pretty much blind, and he's a pretty funny guy. For those interested, here's the first episode; Here

Right now I'm leaning towards Substitute, Calm Mind, Psychic and Moonblast, but I'm not sure I need both psychic and moonblast STABs and if I should try to get more coverage in the move pool, what do you guys think? I might consider dropping substitute for another attack (or utility) move. Maybe Will O Wisp. Gardevoir's movepool is kind of meh which was her problem in the previous gens. But it really depends on the rest of your team more so than anything else. Dropping Psychic for Focus Blast might be fun, since I don't think many Poison types are too keen on switching into Gardevoir and you gain a lot more effectiveness out of it. Uh, Gardevoir's movepool is fantastic, especially when it comes to support options. Its real problems were its poor defensive typing and low physical Defense; Game Freak fixed the first issue this generation, with its Fairy-typing providing a great STAB option and key resistances and immunities.
If you're going for a SubCM set, Shadow Ball could be a useful option over Focus Blast, since Steel isn't resistant to Ghost anymore and you won't have to rely on such shaky accuracy (not to mention Ghost-types walk all over you without it). This sacrifices some important coverage, though, so dropping Substitute in favor of having three attacking moves is viable. As powerful as a +1 STAB Psychic is, the coverage afforded by dropping it is more beneficial in my opinion.

Haha, you're right about Garde's movepool. I edited that part out after relooking at her movepool again.

Any1 with an Adamant ditto or synchro poke they can lend me real fast

How the fuck does charizard know solarbeam?!?!?!
Just got wrecked by a passerby cos it killed my greninja, krookodile and venasaur
|
Don't know anything about this breeding stuff, I JUST got to the Pokémon daycare in the game. More focused on just having 3-4 boss Pokes.
What kind of EV training does everyone prefer? You can super train that shit in like 30 minsish now which is great. I'm just a troll and massing Def, sp def, and HP EVS.
|
You train it based on its role, if the pokemon beats them up with a lot of physical moves and a high base attack you usually want 252 Attack Ev/ 252 Speed and vice versa for special attackers. Tanks will usually want some combination of HP/Def and Sp Def.
Finished my ferrothorn ^^, two more pokes to go before I need to get some hold items and then troll random battles.

Can't search for Natures on GTS, caught another 30 dittos no Adamant, tried looking for a Adamant ralts but they are rare in general :/
|
Bred myself 5 Eevee and I'll start EV-training them soon. I want to EV-train all eeveelutions, but I need hidden abilities for Espeon and Sylveon, I'd like to get a Guts Flareon, but I think it isnt worth it since it has access to Flare Blitz now, it would be a slow glass cannon. I want to get a Glaceon aswell, but I got lazy after my last set of eggs only gave me mediocre Eevee.
Thinking about doing a Life Orb Flareon with Flare Blitz, Quick Attack, Shadow Ball and Toxic/Wish
But Guts might be good with Toxic Orb and Flare Blitz, Facade, Quick Attack and Dig/Wish

How does HP work compared to SDEF/DEF? Is there a formula for it? Like how much HP do you need for it to count as much as some amount of SDEF/DEF?

You usually want a amount of health thats x*16+1, this allows you to survive maximum rounds of Fire/Poison (exapmle Swellow) but HP isnt ev-trained a lot I think.

HP is EV trained on any poke thats ment to take hits like Chancey, Vaporeon, Farrothorn and Blissey. HP is also the stat that will usually get the singkle last ev point on sweepers that go max attack stat and speed

ditto people pls come out~ There's a subreddit for sharing Friend Safaris, and whenever someone notes that their Safari has Ditto in it, their thread gets fucking SWARMED with responses. It's like a scuba diver intentionally drawing his own blood in shark-infested waters. Carnage and mayhem. :/ It doesn't help that Normal Safaris seem to be somewhat less common than the other types.
Man, I'd rather have Ditto and be subject to spamnation than have this stupid Fairy Safari. Shit's worthless, I tells ya.

You can keep him, have like 5 boxes full of misc. Ralts lol
|
The reason I got a Ditto safari cause I added all the people who were like I have no idea what my safari is and got lucky, Ditto threads get like 200 posts in under 10 minutes asking to add them lol
