With enough levels over the E4 just hitting neutrally is good enough and I think every starter is capable of hitting every pokemon for at least neutral damage with something. I find that way no fun though. I like to have a team of 6 that can use all the HM's, have good super effective type coverage and evenish in levels. Also, doesn't hurt that my favorite pokemon is Vaporeon and that pokemon just so happens to be a huge pain in the ass to KO  | ||

A few years back, a different group of people came around here, asking the same questions. I'm thinking this is some subtle foreshadowing to Pokémon Z's antagonist group. Perhaps it'll be sort of like Pokémon Emerald, with Teams Aqua and Magma fighting each other. Team Flare and Team ??? could possibly oppose each other in Z, with Flare wanting a beautiful world and ??? wanting an... ugly one? I dunno. | ||
