Something like Kyogre has to be modest, while Groudon or something should be Adamant Do you know what I would want for Yveltal? I looked at its skills and it starts with 3 special attacks then it can learn 1 special(psychic type) and 3 physical ones(dark, ghost, dragon) from leveling later on.

Sound like Modest (Special Attack up, Attack down) or Timid (Speed up, Attack down), unless people start adding on some physical moves for a mixed sweeper.

Move pool below: + Show Spoiler +Lv<50 - Hurricane Lv<50 - Razor Wind Lv<50 - Taunt Lv<50 - Roost Lv<50 - Double Team Lv<50 - Air Slash Lv<50 - Snarl Lv<50 - Oblivion Wing Lv<50 - Disable Lv<50 - Dark Pulse Lv51 - Foul Play Lv55 - Phantom Force Lv59 - Psychic Lv63 - Dragon Rush Lv72 - Focus Blast Lv80 - Sucker Punch Lv88 - Hyper Beam Lv93 - Sky Attack TM01 - Hone Claws TM02 - Dragon Claw TM06 - Toxic TM10 - Hidden Power TM12 - Taunt TM15 - Hyper Beam TM17 - Protect TM19 - Roost TM21 - Frustration TM27 - Return TM29 - Psychic TM30 - Shadow Ball TM40 - Aerial Ace TM41 - Torment TM42 - Facade TM44 - Rest TM46 - Thief TM52 - Focus Blast TM58 - Sky Drop TM62 - Acrobatics TM65 - Shadow Claw TM80 - Rock Slide TM87 - Sleep Talk TM89 - U-turn TM97 - Dark Pulse TM100 - Confide HM01 - Cut HM02 - Fly
Honestly I'm gonna say he is probably gonna be used as a mixed sweeper so a neutral nature will probably be best

With Stealth rock and Fairy weaknesses I'm a little hesitant to touch his defences but I think thats personal preference

That's a lot of moves to consider using. Guess I'll just take the first not crappy nature as luck tends to not favor me. Is it easy to reset skills in this game? I heard the way to do the Hidden Abilities take some time because you have to accumulate quite a bit of points from some type of battle mode.
|
I don't think you can use the 200 BP ability switcher to switch into a hidden ability (haven't tested yet though, correct me if I'm wrong). By far the easiest way right now is to hope that the pokemon you want is in a friend safari as Hidden abilities tend to be relatively common there.

spent my entire morning trying to get a perfect spread modest xerneas (201/135/115/166/118/119 if anyone else needs the stats to check), not sure if i should settle for this modest with perfect sp atk, sp def, speed. kinda lacking on the health and defense side though x_x

As long as you max SPA and go a 102 speed (should out speed base 105 scarfed pokemon after geomancy) with the rest in defence you should be fine.

The base stats for all the new Pokemon (and mega evolutions) are up now on Serebii.

tryharding mewtwo real rage inducing, got a jolly in X after a few tries, but I went to the IV trainer and it's "above avg" for total with max IVs in def/sp. att and sp. def... this is going to take a while I feel

I am so glad I am not into using legendary in battles. I can see how much of a pain that is...
Anyways, I never realized Mega Evos give that many stats o_O Thats pretty cool I guess.

Mega Gengar feel pretty broken to me. You become vulnerable to Earthquake tho, since it loses Levitate, so I guess it's okay. But the stats are insane.
On another matter, I'm a bit surprised how many TMs you actually have to buy at shops. Might be the first Pokemon game where I need to farm money. Also, where can I find which type is affected by Attack and which by Attack Spé ? Never knew that.

like, what moves are physical/special?

Physical attacks are affected by the Attack stat whereas Special attacks are affected by the Special Attack stat. It's no longer type based like it was a long time ago and instead is move based.

Bred a poliwag with 31 hp/defense/special attack/speed finally.. think im satisfied U_U.

Realistically if you want to be anal about legendaries just don't catch them yet and wait till the RNG is figured out.
