It's weird, though, since Weavile and Gliscor require the Elite Four to be defeated to acquire them as well, due to their evolution items only being available at the Battle Maison. They were easily the most annoying Pokémon to get, especially since the GTS is a complete joke and everyone wants Xerneas and Yveltal for their garbage pokes. | ||

I think he means specifically for Maison where your level is scaled to 50 regardless of your actual level. In which case, I'm pretty sure the additional levels don't matter. Also note that the optimal EV spread for level 50 battling isn't the same as level 100. Because level 50 Pokemon only get half-benefit from EVs, it means you want EV multiples of 8, not 4--EV multiples of 4 that are not multiples of 8 provide no benefit. This means that an example "optimal" spread would be 8/248/248 with 6 points left over if you are EV training for level 50 battling. You can calculate it, but with natures and rounding, it's not as easy as seeing 81 will > 80. Same with IVs... 252 EVs with an odd-numbered IV results in one more stat point than 248 EVs. 252 EVs with an even-numbered IV results in no change compared to 248 EVs, though. http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/poll-for-our-default-simulator-tiering-level.3490516/ | ||
