Everyone keeps saying that, but apart from Red Orchestra 2 there is not a single somewhat recent WW2 game out there I can think of.

Also, thermal imaging didn't exist yet and the APCs don't have guns that shoot large bullets mounted on them. ![]()

![]() This picture essentially says it all. Battlefield 4 is not even going to attempt to be realistic whatsoever outside of having good physics or some shit like that. Nobody in the military, including the special forces, uses 45 degree sights like the ones in the picture, they are pretty much exclusively used by competition shooters who need to switch from shooting at a target that's far away with a scope to shooting a target that's nearby as fast as possible. That is a useful thing to have, sure, but it's typically done in different ways in real life, usually through a red dot or iron sights on top of the optic. This is much lighter and more cost effective than having side mounted irons. Sure they aren't as accurate as 45 degree mounted irons but you have a scope right there if you really need precision, which you probably don't if you're in close quarters anyways. I'll stick with Arma 3 thank you very much Ummm... The graphics look pretty good in this game!

I consider BF3 to be a little realistic in some aspects. The game is more realistic when compared to CoD. Obviously, if you wanted to play a realistic fps, then that would be the Arma series. That is incorrect. The screenshot with the C79 scope is often used by Canadian, Danish, and sometimes support gunners in the U.S. military.

Call of Duty/Medal of Honor and Battlefield when it wasn't Mordern Warfare was all about WW2, CoD2 in particular was a favourite of mine. While there aren't many in the past couple years, the generation before that was swamped with WW2 games

I know that, I was talking about the iron sights on the side of the rifle. Also you do have a fair point about how it's not supposed to be realistic so I guess I'll just shut up lol

$59.99 (nothing new there) For PS3/Xbox 360 (no PS4 and nothing about new Xbox) Built in expansion pack upon release called "Drone Strike" Cover of game is going to be: ![]() But it's just the name of the game "BATTLEFIELD 4" on top of the guy to the left of it, no tank etc. Says to bring in pre-order between the dates of 4/1/13 and 12/1/13 (they really don't know release date yet) No signs of PC pre-order stuff (this was just console) No signs of exclusive stuff (workplace usually has something with popular games, weapons/skins etc but nothing shown)

i really like bf3, its an amazing game. but i wont buy 3.5 so soon after 3 and i dont give a single shit about the sp, out of like 300hrs of bf3 maybe 40 minutes were in sp(checking out how it runs etc), after that i turned on mp and never looked back. /day 1 dlc is scummy but if its handled the same way as in 3 it barely matters. like evry preorder, limited, special edition involved karkand and tons of later dlc/premium deals included it as well. them really putting a 4 on this is imho the way bigger deal.
