I don't mind if the single player is all about cinematics and staged events, it's just like watching through a cool movie, just more awesome. If i wanted to play a single player that i actually had to play through and think it through then i wouldn't go for a BF game right?

Not gonna lie. This was pretty fucking sweet. I love the new mechanic of destroying a pillar and having an enemy tank collapse on the rubble. Very cool. This map's scale looks very large too. Has more of an urban city warfare than some of BF3's maps.

ehhhhh, I'm not really a fan of not having custom squads. How will you play with friends then? In BF3, you can open a new squad in order to have your friends join.

As for voip..



The PC version of the game will have out of the box VoIP as well as Commander to squad communication.

That was so staged it hurt while watching. I mean, holy shit it's awesome all the cool stuff you can do, but at least TRY a little to make it not look like a 5th grade class presentation.

Meh. I disagree. Most game demos are usually staged. Some are more blatant than others. I rather have them do this than just have 64 players running around doing random shit.

This game is pretty much what Battlefield 3 should've been. I'm getting a Battlefield 2 vibe from the gameplay footage. Too bad about all the lame DLC that will inevitably come out for this game.

Was hoping for something more than BF3.5. I guess large maps and being able to blow up skyscrapers is something but quite undecided about this.

And yeah they did make that multiplayer demo look like a co-op campaign.

Motion ball is back :D
Notice how the map changes after skyscraper falls down, everything becomes covered in dust. To take down scyscraper you have to destroy 4pillars, it's not just based on tickets/capturing a flag. And you can shoot your side weapon while in water .

Destroying a skyscraper is not impressive, its not dynamic as all its a set structure with a set outcome.

Absolute crap, could have been done in 2005. Will not be buying it if THATS what they choose to market as the games awesome feature, really.

Can't wait for this; I personally loved bf3 and some of the changes sound brilliant. The scale looks phenomenal and the type of changes to maps possible mid-game with such an engine are near limitless. Hopefully the developer creativity can match the potential.
