Quick question regarding flying:
Is it possible to have UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT arrow keys inverted but then the mouse not inverted? That's how it was for me in BF2 and I can't seem to find the option in BF4 to do this. Kinda sucks because its hard to aim with u/d/l/r and if I had mouse un-inverted then it would be a lot easier than having to relearn how to aim with inverted mouse.
edit: nvm figured it out. had to play around in the jet key bindings settings for mouse bindings
The easiest way would be to simply keep the inverted box unchecked, but manually switch the pitch up/down buttons. If you found another solution that works for you that's fine I guess.

I've been having trouble trying to find organized play though, after watching the EU vs USA showdown I really want to experience something like that at least once.
You can try out global conflict for organized 32v32 battles, which are played weekly if that sounds to your liking. A couple TL people play there already. The upcoming campaign is just about to get started, which is a nice time for newcomers to join in.
http://www.global-conflict.org/ For signups and there should be a thread on what the general idea is.
Otherwise there are communities like LevelBF that do similar organized battles and content like it. Probably are several other similar communities I'm not familiar with.

Ugh. No. I dislike that map. It's a fragfest of indecipherable craziness. >.<'

People who like Domination, TMD or Operation Locker in General should play another Game. This is by far the worst part of BF4 and probably only in there for the Console-CallofKiddy-Casuals.

You see, the wonderful thing is there are many servers and you can filter those servers when selecting a game to join. You can join the game type you like, and other people can join the game type they like, and we can all be happy.

Is there really a battlefield eltiest here.... Lol funny stuff.

Operation Locker is a nice map once in a while for some mindless fun. I don't know why most people think battlefield needs to have vehicles in every map. Infantry only works just fine and is still something entirely else compared to CoD.
Since we're already kinda on that topic: What is TLs favorite map so far? I personally love Paracel Storm, Zavod 311 and Dawnbreaker.

This is true. I don't like playing with vehicles, or on excessively large maps, so infantry-only modes like Dom are fantastic for me. I used to feel guilty for not "playing the game DICE intended me to play it," (with vehicles and the full map) but those modes are still there and still fun to play on. Tastes differ, but the game remains great no matter the mode you choose.
I personally like Lancang Dam on Domination.

I'm a pretty big purist in terms of almost exclusively enjoying to play the game modes and maps that emulate the original style that battlefield games had that seperated them from other games of the genre. What I really dislike is the fact that so many 24/7 operation clusterlock etc. servers are so well populated. Not because people shouldn't be allowed to enjoy it, but because Dice can interpret it as that being the direction to take their game, when it really isn't.
It bugs me that maps like Locker and metro are so popular when what people really enjoy in those maps seems to simply be a Team Deathmatch format that can easily be staged in a part of any bigger map, that would actually offer good gameplay for Conquest Large/Rush.

I've been seshing locker TDM a bit because it is giving me the chance to gain guns and mods really fast at the moment. Being able to get 60-80 kills a match every 25-30ish minutes is giving me a lot more choices when playing other modes instead of just 1 gun for each class when you first start. I love the other modes and it is what i will be playing mostly but for starting out TDM is helping out my character faster.
I would love to play rush but not many servers are offering hardcore rush and the ticks seem off because after 1 or 2 rushes on the rushing side you lose. Just doesn't feel quite right yet.

Given how BF4 was developed ("Levelution," lots of vehicles, ginormous maps, 32 vs. 32 games), I think your fears are unwarranted. Who knows what data DICE is using to improve their games....

Airburst on Locker is stupidly good. I'd blame the map more than the weapon.
Any euro/swede who wants to play? All my friends switched to hc, which I do not enjoy.

I'm not going to look up exactly where, so correct me if I'm wrong anyone. Pretty sure Dice has mentioned that they will be bringing us another DLC pack that has its focus on maps like Metro/Locker etc. just like they did Close Quarters for BF3.
If I'm also not wrong, Dice originally told us they wanted to release CQ as the first BF3 DLC because somehow Metro was the most popular map. Clearly they're using some server data for their decisions(wouldn't make sense not to), but it also seems as if they don't dig any deeper than that when looking at why it's popular.
People like Metro? K, if the map didn't exist I see every single person who played that map simply play 24/7 Noshar TDM instead. The gameplay between those two choices is indistinguishable. Instead we could've had a more diverse map for CQL, that could contain yet another tight area for TDM for that crowd.
There just really isn't a need for any maps to be built like that when they're in CQL mode, that's my point.
And you're not going to convince me that anyone who played exclusively metro 24/7 did it because they had a love affair with escalators or some random detail that none of the TDM maps had.

whats the difference between stability and accuracy?
|
Every single time I'm in the M142 (the artillery tank), someone hops in and drives me to the front, what a friggin dick move.
whats the difference between stability and accuracy?
Accuracy: How tight your bullets are grouped together when aiming down sights. (higher accuracy = lesser bullet spread)
Stability: Less recoil

Does BF4 also use the external server browser in your browser that BF3 used? I think it was the portion of BF3 I disliked the most.

I'm actually a fan of the web-based external server browser and battlelog. I think it allows for more/better features and better navigation than if they had to write something inside the game UI. Considering it takes me basically the same amount of time to load a level if I start from the battlelog or at the end of a round (already in game), I don't see the downside. Then again with the game installed on an SSD I load before almost everyone anyways.

I was never a fan of battlelog in BF3, but they made some tweaks and added new features, so I don't mind it anymore. Only thing which still drives my crazy is the fact I need to join a server to open up the options.

You'd think at the very least we could change our keybinds inside the battlelog.

I used to hate Battlelog, then I realized how much I enjoyed when at work and I wanted to tinker with some stuff.
