Umm, how is using snipers with iron sights (no scopes added) working? Was my favorite way to play on hardcore servers. Working just fine. I was doing that the other day. It's a bit harder but still viable.

The Coyote RDS is good, but exactly the type that I kind of have trouble with at long range trying to get the drop on snipers super-far away. Not sure about Magnifier. Speaking of optics, I'd like some advice. I've been primarily running Assault and using the rifles in that class, but the 4x ACOG and the like feel as though I'm zooming in too far. Like, at a medium distance, I'm too close to zoom in, but too far to hip-fire. So I've gone back to a red-dot sight, but it's still tough to see snipers a kilometer away. Any tips or guidance? (thanks in advance) Did you already try the PK-A?[/QUOTE] Haven't memorized every name yet, so probably not. >_<' What magnification is that, do you know? Or you simply leave the guys that have no assault rifle take care of snipers. Why would you struggle with an assault rifle to hit a sniper several hundret meters away. The time you aim 4 assaults on midrange raped you so hard. I would just rely on a good recon in my own squad to take it down or take a different route. In Bf3 when I played TDM the enemy team had a sniper on the bridge at Noshar. The whole dock side was impossible to cross. He was unbelievably sick and he had cover on the other side from assaults. Such a hard match. A good sniper really can shut down a whole line.

Past BC2 there's just not really any point in using scopes that aren't RDS/Holo if you're into the 1x zoom. First hit multipliers and random deviation are just not going to allow you to hit across those ranges regardless of what you do as opposed to BC2.

Because those are sometimes the only enemies I see in sight (no assaulters in my view) and if I try to move, they'll take my head off. I've gotten an uncanny number of longshots kills with an AR by staggering my firing so the recoil is minimized. Speaking of locking down matches, beware of teams that manage to climb up to the roofs of buildings. Good luck taking them off of their perches once they're up there, lol. Faster games and leveling up, more friends on Steam than Origin, better at this style of gameplay, can get in a quick match or two between work and extracurricular stuffs, MP crashed 0 times for me so far.... I readily admit I'm a fanboy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But back to Battlefield discussion. Sorry for sidetracking. Domination is my favorite game mode right now. Conquest's maps are way too big for my tastes and I can't use vehicles for junk, plus they (and snipers) insta-kill me. I just like shooting guns at stuff with an objective behind it, lol. EDIT: This may seem like sidetracking again, but it's worth mentioning. Dom was my favorite mode in CoD as well, but I like the format Battlefield has it. It's much easier for one person to cap a position (read: play the objective) and deaths actually affect the final score (if minimally). If you get a good squad rolling that genuinely cares about the objective, you'll either rofl-stomp your opponents, or put up a great fight doing so. I also tried sniping twice. Very difficult to one-hit-kill in my opinion. -.-'
