I get crazy frame drops (between 43-61 fps) in BF4...

ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX
GTX 660 Ti
16BG RAM
FX 4170 ~4.2 GHz

That's my only issue in BF4. All other games are totally smooth.
What might be the problem?

You're running about the same specs as myself; Nvidia GTX 660 Ti and 16 GB of RAM. Better CPU and our motherboards differ, though. How many cores?

Hm, still not that different than mine. I've got eight cores at 3.5 GHz. Given all those similar specs, the game runs pretty swell for me. :-\

Do you guys get the bug with the crosshairs disappearing randomly, and that having to press the command rose to get it back? I find this very annoying since I'm using shotguns at the moment, and I don't bother to aim down sights and rely on hip fire. Just a small nuisance.

No change with the patch. Still rubberbands for me, although I don't get crashes or freezes (Never had them anyways). First off, why were the patch notes not released with the patch? They know what they were changing, right? Or did they become skeptical of what would work and then conclude that was the patch. If they can't even release patch notes with the actual patch, something doesn't add up.

Disregarding the server crash they introduced, I still crash after less than 2 minutes of playtime on Siege of Shanghai. Every time. Other maps work the same as before with intermittent crashes.

What a patch!

I did the uninstall/install thingy you guys said and the game was running perfect with zero crashes. Install the new patch today and constant fucking crashes. fuck
